Hey authors! I'm almost finished with my first UGC. Rather than start yet another review-trading thread, I thought it might work better to have a flowing chain of reviews. The rules are simple:
1) If you post here, you agree to review the UGC of the person who posts immediately AFTER you.
2) If you (as a reviewer) have any limitations (such as "solo only"), please note that in your post.
3) Once you finish your review, please update your post to include it.
4) Don't forget to include your UGC info (and any requirements), so the poster before you can find it!
I'll go first. I'll review whoever posts next. I prefer to duo most content with a friend (42 thief & wizard), but I can solo or get a full group (though that may take a few days) if your UGC requires it. So, who's first?
Review of: IN THRALL TO THE GOD OF RAGE -- 4 stars
Well done. Lots of good dialogue options. I really liked how all the NPCs had very distinct personalities, and it really came through.
The "tracking" was a nice touch. The story was somewhat predictable, but there were some interesting twists. Combat was very easy (44 thief + 43 wizard); should be okay for solo.
Overall, I would like a bit more color and depth (for example, some false trails when tracking). I didn't notice any bugs (one minor typo from the Gravedigger, "church game through" should be "church came through").
I'm looking forward to the next chapter; posing as the sacrifice is a great premise.
An interesting twist; I'm always game for feedbacking some foundries!
My quest is in my sig - should be soloable.
To whoever comes next: I won't have Neverwinter access until I get off work in a few hours. Also I roll solo. That said, I'm currently low level on my foundry-only character, so a lot of situations that aren't survivable at high levels are doable for me

Feast of the Moon
Module NW-DADOERMFX
It is about a cult of Shar that is plotting to overthrow Neverwinter.
The adventure is designed to be soloable if you pull carefully and explore for alternate routes around the tough encounters, but also designed to be challenging to a duo who plow through the shortest path pulling everything as fast as they can.
The map was also designed so that following the sparkles will actually take you longer then exploring your own path. The dungeon is a huge maze and there are tons of mobs everywhere, but you can avoid 90% of them if you are careful; it was designed so if you know where everything is, it will take you 10 min to clear, but if you do not know where everything it, it will take ~45 min to an hour.
(Completed as a 41 TR with kobold companion, used 4 full heals from health stone while fighting throughout quest.)
Very fun quest! I loved the ability to choose between multiple pathways to complete objectives, and the dialogue was great. This is definitely one of those instances where I would prefer more separation between stars; in my opinion is wasn't quite a five, but it was definitely more than a four. The Drow Assassins were a great touch, I loved how they spawned.
Issues I had:
- The dialogue option to drop the head at the Mastermind's feet was still available even though I dropped it in the pile of skills prior to talking to him. Not sure if you can remove the the option or not if the item isn't in inventory.
- There were only three slaves visible to me while I was breaking chains. Don't know if it was a glitch on my part or if one was stuck in a wall or floor.
- After feeding the Beastmaster, he turned NPC and the wolves in the nearby pit attacked him. May look into spacing so that doesn't happen.
All in all, I really enjoyed it and will subscribe if I can look forward to continued quests of this caliber.

One day, the messenger of Neverwinter brings a letter. He seems to be in rush. Even before you can open your mouth the messenger runs away, leaving the envelope in your hands. The envelope has a decorated seal well executed.
Broken the seal you read the letter:
"I need your help, join me as soon as possible to the tavern of Wintertop, I can not tell you more!
Red blood is the sunset but dark is the sky. "
The letter ends abruptly with that sort of poetry, nor a signature, not a note.
You think it's worth investigating. The Wintertop Tavern should not be too far away.
I Just tested NW-DFJR2DOH6 - The Epic: Secrets of Shiganshina, very fun and nice. My advice is to add some music

edit:
atiaxi posted after me rather than editing the original post. So I'll wait for the next person to post.
edit:
I played Chinspinner's Three Dials quest NW-DMEWA2PW3 since it was the next quest posted after mine.
I loved the way it was decorated, very screenshot-worthy. I liked the story. My only advice would be to clutter it up a bit. Makes it look more "lived in".
I actually managed to duo this one (my wife wanted to play too) so you got two ratings out of it
Overall, I liked it. The setup is a bit dry (I mention specifics in my notes) but the combat's good, the maze is a really neat idea, and the ending is nice. My specific notes:
- What does 'pick a selune's tear' do? It doesn't seem to do anything but clutter my inventory
- Not much interaction in east hall - "Wonderful food" is about it. Some more dialogue would be nice, maybe placeable food/drinks you can sample. The male Neverex whose first name I didn't write down because I forgot there was another Neverex asks you what you thought of the food or drink, but you never get to sample either.
- Same with the west hallway - one conversation and done.
- Many of the conversation options end in the default "Continue".
- I like the ambient NPCs! Granted, they turn on me later (my wife initially said, upon seeing them, "We're going to have to fight these guys, aren't we?" I assured her that they were just there for decoration)
- Male Neverex: "But havent you noticed" -> "But haven't you noticed"
- Strange transition from cave to gem room - lip in the terrain (maybe add stairs?)
- Me: "Undead nobles? Who invited these HAMSTER?" My wife: "I told you!"
- Lady Neverex: "Pray we never meat again" -> "Pray we never meet again"
Overall, a fun ride!

Glad you liked it. I actually created it to duo with my girlfriend. ^^
The story is inspired by Lasher and Masque of the red death; with some Rosemary's Baby thrown in for good measure.
The Epic: Secrets of Shiganshina, review by @Gallowraith.
(Completed as a 41 TR with kobold companion, used 1 full heal from health stone and 2 health pots while fighting throughout quest.)
Another quest where I wish there was more variation in the star system. I gave the quest four stars, but an honest rating would've been closer to three and a half. Not because it was a bad quest; it wasn't. Because the framework is in place for something special, but the end result seemed a bit rushed.
The Pros:
- I really liked the NPCs and their dialogue. They had distinct personalities, and I can tell a lot of work went into fleshing them out and integrating them fully into the story as individuals instead of just assets.
- The story made me want to figure out what was going on, and created a sense of investment in the plot instead of just running from point A to point B and killing everything in-between.
The Cons:
- The door into the house and the door back to the district appeared very 'tacked-on', especially the door into the house (which was hard to interact with). Some minor adjustments and editing would help a lot.
- Some of the NPC spawning between dialogue, combat, and objectives was a bit wonky. A few times I'd turn to where someone was just standing only to have them disappear and reappear completely across the room. Very apparent when one NPC 'died' during the last encounter, only to reappear unscathed beyond the district door.
- Need to add a little more 'life' to the maps, both internal and external. The wandering NPCs at the start were a good touch, but as the quest progressed it seemed like you did the same thing I tend to do, and that's focus on the story to the detriment of the details.
- Too many internal 'quest' items. At one point I think I had five or six items, and although they added slightly to immersion, it's possible that someone with limited bag space may run into issues. Also, not sure if any of the optional items actually had a purpose; I was hoping I could do something with the ring and the orb, but if they lead to additional content, I couldn't find it.
All in all, I enjoyed it. With a few minor alterations and some additional polishing you can take this far. I think you have the start of something very interesting here, let's see what you can do with it now.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take note of the things you mentioned. I agree with your points and as for the optional items, yes the Soul Ring and Crimson Emblem(if you got it) has a purpose, they're used to summon the last extra boss. You need to investigate the large pillar near the sewer entrance(if you saw it) after you've defeated the last story boss and got the Orb. If you go back to the pillar with the Orb in your inventory, the text would change and you would need to use the ring and emblem to summon the final extra boss. I'm gonna continue the story and introduce more characters after I receive more reviews (so that the next part would be way better)

This seems like a good idea. My quest is in my sig.
Edit: Serves me right for not reading carefully enough. I did the one before me by mistake. @ashleydusenbery "At the End of the Cleft Rock" - NWS-DLV4Q9XLJ. Done with lv49 control wizard.
4 stars. Nice, but quite short quest. Some of the encounters near the end get trickier but not unmanageable. If I'd thought ahead I'd have brought more knock-back skills and that would have made it easier. Don't know how a cleric would handle it though. You could add a bit more detail to the caves if you wanted, make them less bare.

The Three Dials (NW-DMEWA2PW3) @chinspinner
Fun quick little quest. I like the calm intermission asking questions around the inn between combat sections.
Minor points...
*You seem to be using <angle brackets to denote actions taken>. Just checking you know you can use [OOC][/OOC] or [MissionInfo][/MissionInfo] to highlight test. I don't know, maybe you do but you prefer to use those for something else.
*The door to the cathedral seems to be just stuck to the wall. You could put an archway or something around it to make it look more realistic.
*The magical fire you have to click just before the boss still has it's default name ("Magic Fire FX 01" or something).

If you like play and review either (or both if you want) of the two quests in my sig and I'll review whomever posts next. Thanks!
Just played through it, it was a lot of fun and the combat was nicely balanced, dialogue was also great.
Notes:
1) you can alter the 'continue' text for greater immersion.
2) you can change the names of the encounter so that they are bespoke to your quest.
3) be careful encounter stacking, what was easy for me (12 rogue I played it on) can be hard for a 60 cleric for example.
4) there seemed to be some edges I could fall off, I did not try to because it would be quest breaking, but some idiot will, look at invisible walls if you have not already.
5) encounters were a bit samey, try for variety and change their skin.
All in all was a lot of fun though, glad I played.

Played yours and reviewed it. Really nice job. Thanks for reviewing mine too. lol
This has got to be one of the most well written modules I have played so far!
The dialog was excellent and the story was interesting. I really liked how you gave your npcs the option to skip exposition. My only complaint was the town areas seemed too sparsely populated. There were several map that were nothing but a single npc to talk to. Maybe some enemy patrols or neutral flavor npcs standing around would break up the feeling of desolation.
One bug I found was the entrance to the sewer was oddly placed, I managed to walk past the door without knowing it. Maybe you should put an invisible wall in front of it?
(Kinda confused on who is supposed to review mine though, but if ya review mine I'll review yours, just leave some feedback in my thread and I'll make sure I review it)
