This whole thread, I kept reading IBS as irritable bowel syndrome instead of indomitable battle strike...

What about Instigator's Vengeance? Wouldn't that make power 1.5 damage.

I mean doesn't most dps gear have power on it. So aren't we comparing Crit, Recovery, Armor Pen? And then sockets.

Kripp just did the mafs, all stats suck but his math proved power was the best stat. For best damage, from most to least, it goes power, armor penetration, then crit.

The best 60 weapon to test damage on dummies is the "Drake's Greatsword of the Avatar of War". It has the same minimum and maximum damage(850) so it's not random.

Does anyone know if this is just a mistake? It seems more likely that they placed the median value for damage in both slots rather than displaying the range.

I think the damage should actually read: 772-938 which would make more sense as a T2 (but seal bought) weapon.

Anyone have any experience with it?

his interpretation of diminishing returns is weird
I just saw his vid on youtube and when he said recovery gets worse because you need more and more for the next percentage I started to doubt the rest.

while every percentage does indeed need more recovery, each percentage is stronger too
    best example to show this

    5 second CD skill + 98% recovery bonus = 0,1 second cooldown
    5 second CD skill + 99% recovery bonus = 0,05 second cooldown

you can use your skill *twice* as often.. if there were no casttime etc. that would be a dps increase of 100% for 1% of recovery, for someone who played WoW and Diablo so much, that should be basic knowledge

the additional stat cost for each % is there to compensate that
