Hey guys,
I'm Viktor Flemmin and you all must be wondering what the h*ck is NeverCon. Well, as a Neverwinter Player, I find that that the game is really awesome to begin with. It's so much fun and really does get you hooked on achieving greater heights. I'm not gonna start a riot here by saying that it's better than WoW and what not but I just want to share with you my experience playing Neverwinter.
As you all might know, when you reached the maximum level (level 60), things start to get even more interesting and the horizon of possibilities start to expand; epic dungeons, PvP, getting very rare equips and etc. It all boils down to one thing; the party you're in. Now as a player, I have to admit that it that the matchmaking sucks (no offense perfectworld, I understand it's in open beta and much changes and improvements will be made). There are times when you are in a party filled with TRs or no tanks or sometimes, no cleric. To some, it might not be a hassle or a challenge but for me, I find it really disheartening when I still push on with my 4 other TRs in the party and in the end, give up because we just can't seem to down the boss due to the overwhelming adds. Or the feeling like you're talking to a wall when you're asking for your guild, "Who wants to do t1?" and nobody responds.
Well, I thought of a simple solution. Why not make something where players can look for teams more effectively be it for PvP or dungeons. This way, there will be no such thing as silly matchmaked teams.
You now must be thinking, "Why all the trouble when I can just say it in the zone channel?". Yeah, you're right about that, you can do that. But surely you have to admit it is a pain sometimes when you have to scroll through the spams of certain inconsiderate people talking trash or those annoying bots spamming "Selling GOLD and AD! CHEAP! CHEAP! VISIT BLABLABLABLA" x 100.
With that I worked something out and just want to share it with you guys. I made a website, called NeverCon (Short for Neverwinter Connect). It's kinda new and shaky but hey, it's a start. I hope this thread doesn't bring any flamers. Constructive criticism is appreciated (but don't push it of course). Compliments, suggestions, ideas are welcomed with my hairy open arms!
So if you do have the time, visit
NeverCon!
Woah, that's a lot of talking. I'll stop here.
For now.
Regards,
Viktor Flemmin.
P.s If I have gone against the rules of anything in any way, please do not hesitate to tell me. I will immediately rectify the problem.

. . . . . In order to move this to the appropriate forum, is this a Guild or a Community Site?
