Assuming the screenshot key is "print screen", where does the screenshot save? If not how do you take a screenshot in this game?

use printscreen and then copy-paste into an applicable program, such as paint, GIMP, adobe photoshop, etc.

You can also do the /screenshot command as there are multiple options such as taking it with the UI etc.

. . . . . . As the user above me stated, you should have a Screenshot folder inside your Neverwinter>Live directory. If you have DX11, there is a game bug that makes most SS's black screens. To get around this, type /bind X screenshot_jpg - where X is the key you desire it to be mapped to, then use that key to take screenshots. For me, I bound mine to C by tyiping /bind c screenshot_jpg - the command to take screens showing the ui is /screenshot_ui and /screenshot_ui_jpg and can be bound just as I described above. Do get around the DX11 issue, use the commands with _jpg on the end instead.

Nice, thank you. It's to bad it doesn't copy chats. I was trying to screenshot these 3 guys in a pub group ninja looting.

If you do it with the _ui option it should also "copy chats"

Most welcome. Using or binding /screenshot_ui or /screenshot_ui_jpg will capture the chat windows as well as the rest of the UI.

There's also a good thread on getting good screen shots with what appears to be a video editor in the game.

Wow, so hard to figure this out. Would be nice if screenshots were sent to documents folder (LIKE MOST GAMES YOU...)

I'd rather have screenshots were they are now. I don't want everything written to my documents folder.

Ooh, I'll have to try that. Not because of the DX11 thing, but because (for some odd reason) printscrn isn't taking screenshots at all. Even though it works fine in STO. Like I said, it's odd.

Ungh, Documents is the last place to put anything for me.
I manually redirect my downloads and desktop folders to another harddrive. When redoing OS, all is good.
    Except <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> in documents.
THanks for the tip. I was trying to get screenshots of my rogue damage being more than 2nd and 3rd place rogues in some low lvl pugs. i finally found /screenshot, and surprise, no ui.
I did have 2 other pics in the folder of me in town, before i knew the command so something triggered it.
And yea, I tried print screen and pasting in irfanview, no dice.

Sadly there is no way to get quality screenshots besides this demo mode. Why do the current methods provide such <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> shots? Why can't we have screenshot_bmp?
