I don't seem to be able to find any more quests, I have looked everywhere, talked to everybody.
I have 1 quest left in my journal "Reports from the field" which asks me to talk to the "Well informed harper" in Tower District, which I do, and there's nothing of any use there.
I'm level 19 have access to Tower District, Blackgate District and Protectors Enclave, all other area's show as red above my level, I'm guessing I should have quests that would direct me to those places as the game progresses.
I have done everything so far and followed the (What I assume) is the quest path through the game, 63 completed quests.
Anybody have any idea's, is there something I'm missing, I play with a friend as well, and he is lost for idea's as well (Slightly higher level).

did you both done all the dungeons related to the respective lvl's? cos i hardly could keep the pace with the quests and i always solo everything, and with the dailies in the final i had to give up on questing. I'm lvl 54 now and my journal is full with quests from back lvl 35-40'ish >_>
As far as I know I've done everything, and like I said I've searched everywhere for something else.
And yes initially the quests were stacking up, but as I've completed quests (And taken on new quests) I've gradually run out of things to complete.

Go to Knox in the Enclave, usually he'll just tell you to go to the next area once you're the right level regardless if you finished the previous one or not. I've gone to him before and told to go to 2 different zones at once before, despite having just finished one zone.
Won't be needed because there is no way to run out of quests before level 60.
He did something horribly wrong.
I don't see how I could "Do something horribly wrong", I followed all the quests through, completed all the quests, did as I was directed to, my friend would tell me if I did something "Horribly wrong".

the fact is, if you grab your dailies, you would hit L and queue for the various skirmishes/dungeons/pvp that dailies (and not only) sends you to, would be impossible to run out of quests because you would lvl so fast that you would outlevel the quests lines. That "doing something horribly wrong" suppose to mean
Outleveling quest lines is impossible as well, Knox would just give him starter for next.

I would have to say you might have out-leveled the story-line. Try doing some foundry missions or queue up for a skirmish or dungeon to get some additional experience.
If you are too low for an area I don't believe Knox gives you the quests. He automatically gives them to you based on level. So even if you do PvP from level 20-40 you can still go back and get all of the zone quests.
Pressing "L" the right hand box of the 3 "Earn Experience" say's "No new quests seem appropriate for you now. Explore the world to find new adventure and check here again later".
So do I just go to a higher area which warns me that the area is too high a level ?
The hunting for a harper actually should give you a quest, first it leads you to 3 dead bodies and you end up at a at a person that gives you a quest (actually more than one).
If you (like me) only do quests you will be constantly underleveled you need to do a foundry quest once in a while.

You never run out of quests. You should be level 60 before you finish the final area.
If you have actually finished with the area you will have a quest to return to Knox who will give you the breadcrumb quest for the next area, all breadcrumb quests are set to 2 levels below the zone level so you may even see them earlier in some cases. In some cases if you are doing the solo content with a group you will be getting less xp than intended and can be underleveled for quests in a zone. For example, Blackdagger Ruins can start at level 18 but many of the quests are level 19 and 20.
It is also never possible to "overlevel" quests, you can always get them.

Why ? Shouldn't I have game quests that still need doing to progress through the levels and game story without resorting to foundry quests ?
If I do foundry quests and level higher I could outlevel any future storyline quests.
If you don't queue up for dungeons, skirmishes or do Foundry quests you will get under-leveled, especially at lower levels, like maho4200 stated. The quests will only get you most of the way through zones. The curve is designed with players doing at least some of the dungeons, skirmishes or foundry quests.

Hunting the harper I've done, it either gave me further quests that have been done or it gave me nothing.
I have looked everywhere, talked to everybody, gone back over the entire area's, I don't know what level I might need to be for Knox to give me a quest in a new area.
I'm sort of stood here wondering what to do.
Guess I'll level up a couple of levels and see what happens.
That starts around level 19-20 and comes from Knox.
Try going back to the tower district, there should be one class quest and one racial quest in there (dependant on class, cleric and dwarf racials are in there at least)
Im backlogged with quests that are now ten levels below me at least, and im only in the graveyard area, but ive been doing every questline and following them
Yeah my wife and I continually run out of missions and end up having to queue or use the foundry. This latest one now we are lvl 38 and have cleared Vellosk out of everything available and are going to hit the foundry again as i'm sure once we hit 40 something else will open up.

Been here done it twice
Perfectly normal
Head BACK to Protector's Enclave and Speak to Knox he'll then send you to the next area to play in
Though on my CW it gave me the whole return to Knox and on my GF it didn't but at least I knew to go check in with him
So end result go speak to Knox and if there's STILL Nada I'd suggest goin to see Rhix over near the market and grabbing the dailies and do those to pop 20

Except he's running out of quests at the start of a zone.
But it seems like he might have missed the spelltower thing.

Perhaps also the extra XP for Invoking three times a day?
(me, I'm constantly overlevel. I've stopped doing the Foundry dailies on my "main" - even though I really want the AD - because I want to follow the questline with that character, not end up skipping around because I'm 5+ levels above and the quest ! aren't showing above NPC heads anymore.)

You cannot be overleveled by just doing quests and invocations, it's a fact if you claim otherwise you are plain lying.

I'm not hostile I'm just stating the truth, it is simply not possible since the XP you are granted is fixed and the majority of your XP comes from quests.

This is an open beta. Start treating it like one.

Dungeon or Skirmish XP wont get you far either.
PvP gives you around quarter level per fight, even if you AFK it. Thats what i did when i was in same situation
You must be fun at parties....Why so hostile bro?
Just did a couple of foundry things to gain a level. (I find the foundry quite confusing).
