Yeah but I want to make it work NOW.. not somewhere in future.. because it is important thing... And there are ways how to walk it around as many other things that Foundry makes limitations about...
I see more precision in trying to solve it somehow at least then put your legs on table and say "it is bug"... I will rather try to make it work some way... and that is this thread about...
I see that your approach is dead beetle... but it doesnt make anything better.. it just doesnt make anything... That is it...
So put your tail back between your lags... By not trying to solve things your own way you dont make thing any better... (as you arrogantly throw your self around in your previous post) you just dont do them...
And many players doesnt know that sound is bugged so they will tell you why dont you have any sound in there? When I will have at least some sound then they will appreciate it.. when I will work it out somehow..

    You asked:

So what is your approach to sounds? How do you "try" to make it work?

Myself and others have answered. You not liking the answer and attacking our answers doesn't change them. You aren't going to convince me that I'm wrong. You can insult me, chide me, argue with me all you want but you asked and were answered. Is it so hard to understand that some people do it different than you?
Do you crave a good old fashioned dungeon crawl? One where the dungeon tells it's own story? The Dungeon Delves campaign is just for you! Start with my first release: NW-DQF4T7QYH Any cave can lead to adventure!

I am not attacking your opinion that you dont put sounds in foundry..... That is your way..
What I was attacking was your comment that you do "quality quests" as others who try to find ways around wold "not make quality quest" which is insulting.. So you were insulting in a passive aggressive way...

This is something I only experience the second time (and every time thereafter within the same session) that I start a Foundry Preview play. Every sound in the map will play immediately if I do that. It's not something that happens the first time you play the preview.

Can you confirm that this happens in published quests or the first time you preview a map after starting the Foundry?

    It happens everytime...
But it happens only with room sounds.. not with placed sound.. placed sound works well in Foundry editor.. but room sounds are messy both in editor and in reality...

Actually I said myself and others put the sounds in place and let Cryptic fix the bug so the sound works. Perhaps that is where your mistake comes from. I deliver a quality quest, I don't deliver a quest with half measures that I have to go back later and fix. The idea that my doing that invalidates your approach is your own, I neither implied or stated that you didn't produce quality, that's your own addition to my statement.

You on the other hand called my work dead beetle and tucking my tail between my legs. I consider those insults.

Yeah you are saying it again.. I just dont hide in passive aggressive manner...
You say it as I would say "for example" (dont take this personally just example): I dont use joker profile photo because its is too much mainstream... (which in th same manner as you do.. Do not directly says that you are mainstream but it says not-directly as you do)... that is passive aggressive..
That is insult that you can always cover with (I didnt mean it that way) but yeah it sounds that way.. So I dont care if you will cover it or not... I know what it means...

Choose to take it how you will, I don't have control over your thoughts. My point of view on what I said is probably more accurate to what was said than yours but if you don't want to consider that your point of view skewed the meaning that is your choice.

An it is the same like... I didnt say your work is dead beetle.. I said your approach.... means approach to the sound placement in rooms is dead beetle.. because as you said you dont do that.. and dead beetle means you dont do something..
And I didnt say "your work" I said "your approach"... meant your approach to sounds placing.. which doesnt mean the whole "work" at all...

Frankly, I'm designing my quest as if sound worked for now with the disclaimer that sound bugs are a Cryptic issue. <snip> I have debris falling sounds, bug sounds, howling winds, thunder, and many other sounds and frankly they are all necessary, and I'd rather have them in their current state than to leave them out and tell players "sorry for the silence".

I've quoted this so you can see what I said again. Because again, you're mistaken.

Oh, and point of reference, my avatar is Smiling Jack, one of the corporate logos for Savage Worlds games, with permission from the artist for it's use. Again, point of view skews things.

    here is what you said:
Seems to me that like myself Tilt doesn't worry about Cryptic's bugs and instead builds quality quests that will function correctly once the bugs are fixed.

and to that I was referring...

BTW.. It is joker... clown, jester.. how you wan to call it... Smiling Jack is "name" of character.. joker is name of profession... So Smiling Jack is joker, clown, jester.. how you wan to call it...
