DCed by a trickster rogue... again.

I will post in this thread every time i get DCed by a trickster rogue. so far its only happened 4 times in the past 2 hours.

    how does a trickster rogue make you disconnect? do they have some superability i don't know about?

    Its called Sever Connection. Its in the Net Ninja Paragon path tree.

    in cases where players die while dazed, the game client crashes.

    not bad. went several hours with out it happening! but it finally happened again

    I feel your pain grekath. I have had a few hours of crash free and then it happened 3 times in one match. But at least I was back on and got some glory. But this bug is really killing the enjoyment for a LOT of people

    Is that why I keep crashing and coming back injured when I get swarmed in PvP? I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

    There is a way for TRs to crash the client of an opponent, yes. It's been around for a few days, wasn't fixed in the most recent maintenance and now gains popularity. You have to control+alt+del and kill the process. And to add to the issue, you return with an injury. (Those Major Injury Kits at 60 are becoming a rather large gold sink.)

    There are 50+ reports of this in the Bug Report Forum... I would say 1/3 of my matches end this way. Though TR is not the only one that can pull this trick off. GWF can too.

    The funny thing once you learn the trick on you to force folks to disconnect you can do it every match and force a win over and over.

    So when this happens you now have to wonder... was it by chance or on purpose your game locked up. Enjoy PvP...

    apperently smoke bomb makes clients crash, happend to me also and alot of my guildies

    WOW. I don't know what to say. I stay out of PVP, so my rogue ain't responsible for anyone's grief. But seriously, this is something that should have been fixed by now.

    You can't be serious, do you seriously think that some players will not use all their ability's to kill an opponent because it's and exploit? How do you even know the rogues know about this? Try to think of the rogues perspective, there you go about and kill people in pvp and suddenly your account gets suspended, reason? You killed somone in pvp with wrong ability. Ridiculous

    Can I be serious that you should report players who repeatedly crash someone else's whole game and force the person to go into the task manager to kill the process to regain control over their computer? Of course.

    It is not a coincidence that this used to happen once every while before the information got out. Now you have it happen five times in the same matches against the same rogues.

    I understand your frustration but you can't punish some one for using an ability. An exploit is when some one is doing something that is not intended by the game developers. The developers intended for players to use their ability's. The outcome is unfortunate. Best thing is to bring that up to attention by as many as possible so they can hotfix it ASAP as this is very frustrating i can imagine. Don't hate the player, hate the game ;)

    playing against Magoo@magoo3388 and HavocTheFeared@lordhavocthe1st. both these guys have been purposefully DCing pplayers in the past 3 games ive played with them. its awesome.

    So this entire guild called "The Rooster Squad" is aware of this problem and are doing it on purpose to farm gear and **** to sell on the market.

    Why is this even allowed.

    @morlizer: when people do it to you 5 times in one match its pretty obvious they are doing it on purpose to DC players. and when 1/2 your team is DCed at any give time because they are doing it its also pretty obvious they are doing it just to DC people.

    Yea Ive been running in to quite a few people who know that theyre doing it on purpose. It sucks but nothing we can do about it aside from avoid smoke bomb aoe like the plague. They really need to fix this asap, its hard enough trying to dodge 2 rogues attacks when theyre dead set on getting you. If you get stuck in either one of their smoke aoe its most likely lights out and come back with an injury and a loss.

    I have been disconnected 5 times tonight alone so far in about a 3 hour game period.

    You can payback those <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>, there is a bug atm when you delete a mail a copy of it spawns and you need to delete one more. Spam their mailboxes ;) There is a chance that after deleting hundreds of mails they will stop.

    wow awesome.... If I were in that guild I would do the same and try to DC people for fun. That is soooooo cool!

    I got it 7 times today, not to mention PvPing as a GWF is bad enough but this... yeah..

    ... Yeah...

    ........ yeah......

    ............... almost done with this game.... just would like some acknowledgement from the devs that they understand the problems ... just something.

    Well, tried to do the daily, had my client crashed three times in the same match.

    I'd appreciate an update from PWE/Cryptic on the situation with an ETA for a fix. You might want to consider to send everyone a stack of Major Injury Kits, too, because at 20s a piece these are pretty expensive at 60.
