I assume you do not bother to read anything before posting, is this correct?
I read that there will be no character wipes but it seems pretty vague as the game is in beta. Does it mean no more wipes in open beta or wipes even going to release.
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

"Open Beta" is technically launch for PWE games. If I remember correctly they have a policy which keeps their games in open beta so that they can continue making countless tweaks, bug fixes, expansions, ect. without much of hassle. (i.e Perfect World International has been out for over 5 years now and it is still in open beta)

instead of reading "open beta" read "soft launch" thats pretty much the state of every f2p game atm. The last char wipe is between closed and open beta/soft launch
Oh good, the daily 'is there going to be a wipe' thread?
I have placed links in my signature that take you to a list of questions and answers. They are asked so often that the list is called Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Typically the games that do wipes after closed beta and open beta are subscription games, the issue here is you need people to test items from the cash shop, so if you wiped after open beta then you would have to refund everyone the amount they paid , and if you are talking about companions and the xp they have gained etc. it becomes very complicated and tends to alienate their player base. When i had only played subscription based MMO's and i started to play F2P games i was a tad puzzled the first time i saw it.

If you actually read it it clearly states no more character deletion after the 25th... how much more plain english do you need.
They keep it in 'beta' stage so that they can remove stuff at their whim claiming its 'beta' and was a bug. Ask some forsaken world players after a roll back they know what I mean.

Did you not read my quote?
People are just tired of answering the same "one simple question" dozens of times each day.
Its expected with MMO communities.
Yes there is. This is like the 50th thread asking this exact same question.
