Can't open launcher

I'm getting the following error everytime I try to open the launcher:

"Unable to establish connection to patch server. Please check your Internet connection."

It was working just fine yesterday even though I was getting a different error at the start of the OB, but after downloading a fix it worked fine.

    i can't get the launcher running at all, i did 1 time but then i wasn't able to log in, it said my user or pass were incorrect, it was the correct once i triple checked

    Ah yes, the Great White Launcher has returned. No worries, I'm sure it'll all be ironed out in an hour or two.

    Maintenance is not over yet guys.
    Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

    Blank launcher here as well. My husband got it yesterday (the only day he would have been able to play) and thought maybe his files were corrupted. He uninstalled, and redownloaded everything. Still didn't work.

    just dowloaded game seems im haveing same problem when launching game just get a blank screen, ahh ok lol ppl posting same time as me about maintinence, well guess Ill go back to GW2:)

    u get the launcher to load if u reboot for some strange reason..... but it will crash when u hit login. seeing as a crash-report box pops up, i dont think its cuz they have a maint (and it worked fine until the game updated) :P

    and while on things not working... the popup box shuts down after 2 secs.. gl trying to type a reason for the crash there...

    the white screen is most probaly a login server "issue" (read like a queue for the game login). it just went 1995 on me (all gfx were gone, just links and plain text).

    Same trouble here.
    After several tries the launcher loads but as soon as I hit login, a crash report appears and it won't even let me send a report!

    Such a shame. I've been waiting to play the game for so long :(

    Zorp, the launcher itself does not start. It fails to start, not to connect to the server. It's pure-white (like the screenshot above), it does nothing, sometimes (twice for me) it starts, but as soon as you fill the login data and hit enter, the "ups, it crashed" pop-up shows up (but vanishes before I can fill up any info about the crash).

    Same here, and the launcher as been acting like that even before the maintenance started.
    I have to launch it like 10 times, before being able to log in game.
    It's not funny at all actually, considering the game is pretty good:\

    IMPORTANT EDIT: apologize guys. White screen on launcher too. That fix the problem for launcher auto-update.

    Did that, sometimes it works, sometimes not. It's a mess.

    Let's try it this way. It white-screens because the login page/server is beeing hammered (like a ddos). That's why it wont load, would be nice if they popped in an error msg instead of just going white.

    Don't worry.. The game isnt up yet anyways (i just got thru, just to time out trying to get my char page)

    Edit: i could just login without a crash. I think they actually made it crash on purpose... thats effing <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>.

    Launch it from the command prompt. I don't know why but it works.
