Nightmare Greatsword?

Anyone got the Nightmare Greatsword from the Trade Bars Merchant? It seems like a gamble to spent 1000 Bars without knowing what it looks like.


And/or has anyone bought the Dragonslayer 2mil AD armor?

    Not worth it as it has no weapon enchantment slot like the unicorn, drake, and pvp weapons do.

    He's clearly asking about the appearance, not the stats which are visible in the shop... I'd like to know too, so here's a bump.

    Correct. Ive seen the Nightmare Dagger listed but no one has posted a screenshot of the weapon.

    It's pretty awesome that there isn't a preview item option on any gear. :rolleyes:

    Well, I'd say we can assume some things about the way that it looks. There's the Nightmare Dye Pack which will dye armor dark silver, red and gold. At a guess, it will likely have a Daedric-esque design to it, being endgame with that colour scheme, so... Yay?

    To be fair, all this does is keep me from spending any money on this kind of stuff, so if Cryptic's cool with that I guess I will be too. ;)
    They seem to have bet the farm on really big spenders with really poor impulse control, but if that's where the money is, what the hey.

    Dunno if it's worth it, is there anything else worthwhile to spend the bars on? I know the greycloak 60 weapon is significantly better in terms of stats.

    I saw Nightmare Dagger on the Auction Broker on Mindflayer Server. No purple enhancement slot =/, if they are pretty it may be worth looking into.

    I bought it, @ work right now so I dont have a screen shot.. It looks alright... Kind of skeleton themed.

    It is skinny compared to the other weapons you should get instead.

    More regretting it because it's three pieces at 550 bars, each. So 1650 for the whole outfit. If i had known what it looked like before hand, i probably would have gotten something else. Most of the things there and at the AD merchant seem to be mostly vanity type items, but no preview system makes it an odd <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> shoot.

    This is the whole jester set on my tiefling, re-dyed red, black and blue.

    I hope they add an actual preview for gear on merchants soon, but at least you can preview gear from your bags before you bind it by equipping it.

    Just right-click an item in inventory, select 'Change Appearance', left-click, hold button, then drag the empty window 'down' and the item comes into view. You can turn it around and examine it then.

    Ditto. I wouldn't mind seeing how the Dragonslayer Armor/Helm looks but not gonna spent like 3mil in AD to just see.

    I took off my armor, it wasn't contrasting very good with my pink and green mail.

    Thanks. Might be useful to get just for the weapon skin even if the stats suck.
