Is teh Queueing bugged at teh moment, as it seems that it takes a very long time to get a party, such a long time in fact that by the time i get the auto invite i have outleveled that particular one.
on a new launch i would not expect to have to Queue for over an hour for a single party to form, especially since that you do not need dedicated roles e.g. healer and tanks, so what is causing the delay?

The largest part of the player base hasn't started playing and wont until tuesday. This is the problem with staggered releases. Not enough interest leads to semi low population. The servers are no where near capacity but they wont open the gates until the set time. TO make those who paid feel special.

It has more to do with load balancing the servers, but whatever you want to tell yourself is cool I guess.
Its hard for the matchmaking utility to create a "balanced" group when rogues are queuing up about 50:1
No wonder when GWFs are gimp.

Yeah I missed out on the green dragon one as I ended up 2 levels above what was indicated at the zone level which I think was 34 so at 36 I no longer saw it in the list. Which is odd as I did an aborted attempt earlier and people level 30 were in there. The levels are a bit skewed towards getting in earlier rather than sticking around 'too long' and overall I was a bit disappointed. I really would have liked to beat it that one while going through the story missions.
I didn't notice any queue issues the first day or two. Today did seem pretty bad as most of the skirmishes and dungeons I did I had to wait a long time which usually meant I couldn't do anything else since it was too easy to get xp doing other things.

Load balancing empty servers doesn't do anything. Keep telling yourself that though.

is the queing for clerics and guardians a lot faster therefore? so the system therefore matches 1 guardian with 1 cleric with 3 of everything else? would make sense, but then, cryptic should really look to incraease the number of tank and healer classes...its kinda annoying if you have to wait 1 hour until you can join...think gonna reroll a cleric till more people are on the server
On 30th we'll have enough of each class , don't worry about this aspect of the gameplay . What we should be worried about though is how well will PWE handle the tremendous server loads due to the high ammount of players that want to try out the game .
For pvp the Que is Usually 1-3 minutes on my guardian Fighter. Dungeons and Skirmishes have been instant every time though.
Same here with my GF. My rogue I can get in maybe 30 mins for the first 20 levels. After that its a never pop, probably due to too few people at 20+ yet.

I disagree. I think there will be a huge tank shortage. They need to make a second fun defender class soon. GF is ok but they need a cool class people will flock to. After they put out the two new strikers (warlock and ranger) its gonna be much worse.
I've participated in one skirmish and one dungeon as a guardian fighter. Both times the queue was instantaneous. I didn't have to wait more than 5 seconds. I also accidentally clicked the dungeon queue button and was immediately placed in a party once. Had to abort that one.
If it takes a while, your class probably isn't in demand. I believe the devs have said that the queue tries to make sure there is one tank and one healer in each group.

Have you actually played? The servers are packed. At higher levels it gets more lonely, since I imagine most people are in the 20s at the moment, maybe lower than that.
Believe me man when I tell you that you are not missing out on a lot. His fight is insanely difficult. Wiped on every group i've been in on him so far.

Why do you think on the 30th people will then magically be uninterested in rogues?
Also most people are already playing.. I don't know why people think there is the mad rush coming on the 30th.
I've spent hours in queue and not gotten into a group. I did get into one of the skirmishes; but only once and that's been it. I wonder if it might be better just to make queues first-in-first-out and not bother with trying to match everyone up into balanced parties.

What level are you? Maybe I've just out leveled most but I doubt that. I'm 40 now and have been queued for the Pit Fight skirmish for over an hour. Earlier zones weren't a problem it wasn't until around Helm's Hold that I started having to wait.
As for the class I am playing it's Guardian Fighter.

I'm only level 22 atm, taking my time to enjoy the game. Makes sence though that lower content pops faster. Oh well, give it a few days and more people will be higher in levels.

I join the queue when the event for AD or something like that is going on. It's kind of like a tell for when people will be queueing up for a dungeon or skirmish.
sorry your are mistaken. most people are not already playing, its a simple fact. i never said anything about what classes people will be choosing.
You can to cite what empirical data your basing this astute conclusion on? You know, since sales figures are confidential and internal to Cryptic only at this point?

Stil waiting! And since I'm close to leveling I can't rea;;y do anything else as I don't want to become ineligible for the event. Even more annoying is sometimes I seem to get dropped from the queue for no reason so have to rejoin.
