Name Length

Can anybody who knows tell me the total amount of characters a name can have? Also what restrictions there are such as spaces or using symbols like -

    coming from a buddy of mine that is playing you can have a first and a last name with a space in between as to the length of the name I don't know.

    AFAIK the limit is 20 characters and there doesn't seem to be a name filter running at all.

    Drizzt (however it's spelled), God, DarkwingDuck, are all names I've seen in the last 12 hours. Among MANY others.

    The limit is indeed, 20 characters. You can only have EN-US keys, spaces, dashes and apostrophes in a name.

    Example, here are some of my character names from Beta and Open:

    'Old Zeb'
    Archmage Zebular
    Myradaxx Dae'Vesh
    Zeb-Zug
    Zeryn Dae'Vesh
    Bruthim Evenbeard
    Gruthim Evenbeard

    You can also have multiple spaces in the name. my favorite name I've seen so far... Leggo My Aggro
