NEW Sale packs confirmed on april 30th

" The Founder's Packs will change April 30. We don't know how yet but they will change. Some items may be kept. Some items may not be kept. Your guess is as good as mine. So there is a chance what you're interested in paying for will still be there April 30 but we won't know until then."

Ive been saying this for a month plus and told I was wrong by so many lol. BUT to recap get ready for a new class in the new sales pack first day of OB. yes it will cost money to play "early" and YES it will be free later as promised of all the races and classes.... but you will ( and should have to) pay for the privilege to play the "free" stuff early just like the drow.

NO I do not have a fact to support that I believe there is a new class in the new pack. I have commonsense tho and it works so well for me. At least 90%+ of all ive said to be true the last 8 weeks has came true.

    Not to say your wrong about the new packs, but you do realize he is just a forum mod, not a Dev, quoting him is not confirming anything.

    Yes it is. That is not a guess. He knows exactly what is coming he simply is contracted to not release any info. To think otherwise is well.. naive

    The better question is...

    If I purchase it today and they add to it... do I get the additional stuff or not. Meaning do modifications to the Founders Pack get applied to people that already purchased it. (good or bad)

    This info was confirmed many many times, but no one said what will be included on the new packages... heck, the countdown in the founder package selling page more than confirms that the packs will change.
    They will cease to exist to give way to new packs.

    hum.. would seem odd that they'd put all the 'new' classes into a founders pack*. but it makes since. "we wont charge for new classes or anything like that" but if you want to have access to it 'early' you'll have to pay.

    i guess we'll see.
    Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.

    Ability Scores || All Attribute Roll Combinations || My Cleric Stream \o/

    It will probably be called LAUNCH PACK and contain different mount and main stuff, and some of the minor items the same.

    I didn't buy any founders pack as I know much cooler stuff will be added to this game and i don't want to spend $60-200 just to see cooler things in a month or less and have to spend another $60-200. Its a free game, why spend crazy amounts when its not necessary or even worth it.

    Better off waiting, playing free for now and see what i need and what cool stuff comes out, sales etc.

    New sales packs on April 30th? Makes sense. New class on April 30th? Sounds like complete and total conspiracy theory BS. Link to a dev post?

    I see what you mean !. Your right you should not buy anything yet. and it would be plain dumb to buy what comes out in 2 months down the road !. hell that's silly. you should wait 6 months then all the cool stuff will be right there. you only have to wait 6 months think of it that's nothing. wait.. NO.. you should wait a year. that's the ticket. hell play free and buy zero. that way you wont have any of the stuff . think of all the cool stuff out in 2 years even..     No... they will make ALL NEW packs. anything you buy now will not be added too.

    Personally I'd be amazed if they add in a new untested class on opening day, it will be at least a month or more before we see one as they will need to test/balance it in alpha testing first (internal testing isn't enough) it wouldn't surprise me if we actually saw drow in the game (for free) before a new class is put in

    I am a bit confused Open beta starts April 30th and there are no more player wipes.

    When does Open beta end and has there been any mention of a release?

    I always find it ironic that volunteer mods always say.. "we don't have any inside information!!!" yet gems like this keep popping up. :rolleyes:

    Has anyone seen anything on the Zen and AD we used to test out the store and such during the betas? I know before when there was going to be a wipe before OB that we were going to get refunded the AD from the packs and Zen to our accounts. Is that still on still there now seems to be no character wipes? :) Thanks!

    Zen and AD used during the beta weekends will be refunded. The 'no character wipes' actually means that there there will be no wipes after the 'open beta' ends (whenever that happens)

    Yes you get 100% refreshed pack of whatever you bought as soon as your able to play. open beta is the soft launch of the game.

    Sure is a good thing that at least 2 new classes are being and have been tested fully in alpha testing then huh. another hint for the na ive . purpose of beta weekends is not to test new classes lol..

    It was confirmed in a post that refunds will be given out when OB starts. If you're a founder, refund should be on the respective day; the 25th or 27th.

    This thread is full of overthinking and dreams.
    These founder packs have been and will always be a pack, starting "insert date" ending on the 30th.
    The fact that they are adding a new wave of packs is common sense for all the players who will end up paying quickly in the first few weeks, however I do expect a pact to not always be available.
    what it has is anyones guess, too many exclusive accesses will ruin the game though.

    Really?! It was a delayed reaction but I'm now laughing my rear end off!

    That's quite the theory you got there. If there's going to be a new class added I have not been informed.
    In fact the only thing I have been informed about is that the packs, as they are, will cease to exist after April 30.

    That is the full extent of my knowledge and there are Developer Posts on the matter somewhere around here, too. Worst comes to worse Crypticmapolis mentioned that they will likely get a revamp after "launch" in the NOCS episode 2.

    As for how much of a change there will be, I haven't the slightest idea. It could be as simple as removing the early access and CBW from the packs.
    Your guess is as good as mine.

    But if they do add a class, well I'll be just as happily surprised if they do...
    But sadly I won't be unhappily surprised if there's no new class released April 30. :)


    I'll try to hunt down the Dev Posts for you guys. But have fun with the theories. It gave me quite the laugh.

    not going to lie, i am a little confused about this all. So they are adding in a new pack right at the 30th? Does this affect the heroes of the north pack? Will we still be able to play on the 25th and will this change what we get?

    This is not accurate. Please try keep things civil. The only hint of new classes has come from people data mining.

    This game is going open beta on the 30th, but for those that chose to support this game, the dates are sooner. If you dont choose to support the game by the time it is going open beta, you dont deserve, to get all the cool stuff. You can settle for what everyone else gets.. Putting your money down pre-release is showing them some faith, that they will make this rock, and everything i have seen is awesome, except guild creation, (giant issue here on my part). The rest of the game is completely done in all the right ways, and I am amazed by the perspectives, as an artist. So if you dont choose to buy before, are you gonna regret it?
