Why would this gain NW new players? SWTOR is still online, so those people aren't coming here unless they like fantasy MMOs, and the comments I hear in general chat in the fleets indicate that most people there are burned out on fantasy. I am one of the few players in my SWTOR group that still like elves, dragons, and the other trappings of fantasy gaming.

Use a stopwatch when you join the group finder cue (after the double XP weekend) .... then tell me how "online" it is
Several times I logged in and joined the cue (under max lvl) ... then logged out 30 minutes later and not one group had been automatically located....
most recent attempt was last week.
But it gives me something to do while waiting for Neverwinter release.

I play on Ebon Hawk, there are loads of people even when not on a double xp weekend, multiple instances of the fleet and lots of people on most planets. I had no problems finding groups either. You also ignored the part where I mentioned that there are a lot of players there who are burned out on fantasy themes and who will have no interest in NWO. In addition, the xpac comes out in a week or so, which will bring back a lot of players.
I understand that you really like NWO and you really want SWTOR to fail, but your emotional reactions don't have a lot of bearing on objective reality. I, for one, will be playing both NWO and SWTOR. I truly find it amusing when people give near religious devotion to a video game and lash out at other games as a result, it really shows the lack of common sense and depths of how barren some peoples emotional lives are.
I expect this game will pull more from CO and STO, as the community is spread across multiple games and I have seen a lot of players from both games talking about NWO in various chat channels.

My entire household plays SWTOR and all "our" accounts are OPS/Raiding accounts.
I have been active in SWTOR since beta... and SWG since beta before that. Previously dating back to the Commodore 64/Amiga days I have always loved LucasArts games.
Xwing vs tie fighter games were incredible in that time.
You... my friend... can read me as well as you can read my younger brothers dyslexic kanji - and he knows ONLY English
When SWG "failed" I also posted there that the numbers will bolster SWTOR...
PS: on "The Bastion" server I cue on my sub 50 dps for 30 minutes before logging out. I cued over 6 times this week. That is 3 hours waiting in cue.
I got in a total of 1 group.
1. DO they currently offer server transfer (paid or free?) - NO only the mandatory merges due to server consolidation
I am not happy to see SWTOR in difficult times as I have a lot of .... "effort" invested in my account...
SWTOR has not shut down, but the LucasArts collapse can bring no good to that online game.
UPDATE:
Im currently cued as DPS .. WITH a healer in my group. Both level 50. We have just hit the 45 minute mark waiting for the group finder cue!
