    Neverwinter is called The Jewel of the North or The City of Skilled Hands...

    Also were im from its also called Noyvern

    its an official name for the city although we treat it like a nickname
    the origin of this name comes from the literal translation of the Neverwinter name to Spanish from the games of
    Neverwinter nights for pc but the game came with the in-game text, video and manuals with that name Noyvern
    it was mostly due to Spanish translation for the release of the game in Spain, the name comes from
    "mai hivern" or a more literal translation "no hivern" so they decided on a more cool hybrid name *Noyvern* witch is the same in the end.

    This was also decided on the translation of the Manuals and Books since they dint know how to approach the names of the cities so in the end they decided to translate ALL the city names that could be translated to avoid confusion on places or cities like the Neverwinter example since after the pc game D&D had a HUGE uproar and more ppl were approaching the tabletop game with the knowledge the pc game gave them so it avoids a little confusion in that regards.

    To all Spanish speaking country's mostly Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Chile we also know Neverwinter as Noyvern.
