What is the max length a character name can be?
Can we have a first and second/last name?
Or do we have to use the underscore to seperate them?

I do not know what the maximum is, but it is quite long. You can have as many spaces as you like, too, from what I saw, not just <forename> <surname>, so underscores are not necessary.

One minor annoyance, though, is that your picture in the upper left only displays a limited number of characters... "Jade Serenity" only displayed "Jade..." and "Granny Goodness" only displayed "Granny"... it could just be that the game assumed anything after a space was a LAST name and they just display the "first" name and then the ellipses. I tried to modify the UI, stretching that box far to the right but it did not change my displayed name. Not a big deal - long names are still ALLOWED, just not visible in the UI.

My paladin, er...Guardian Fighter (atm) is Jean-Claude Regnier, and that's a lot. Also, I got Rhiannon the Red as a name. I have to say, I love love love Cryptic's naming convention. It annoys me so much to have a name I want to use but am limited to someone who makes a character with a name I want only to never play it ever, but doesn't delete it, so the name's forever unavailable.

braxzana, I didn't notice, but I didn't look, either. I'll have to try and remember to do so next weekend.

I think the maximum name length is 20 characters. I tried a test name of "12345678901234567890" and it stopped there, if I remember correctly.
