When I was in high school I remember going to my local book store and seeing a book called "The Parched Sea" The Harpers Series, Volume 1. I purchased this book and every week after I came back to the store and bought yet another in the series and then began expanding to the Moonshae trilogy, Icewind Dale, and many many others. I was pulled into this world that these authors had created.

In the years since then I have lost all of these books to either moving or selling, or lending out.

Now I find myself very much interested in Forgotten Realms again, and as luck would have it. Amazon has all of these books available for me for very reasonable prices.

I have begun re-reading all of the R.A. Salvatore books starting with Homeland (I stopped at the Hunter's Blades Trilogy), and then moving on with all of the others.

The best part? I will never lose these books again. Well, unless Amazon goes under and I lose all my digital content... :)

This will be a journey that will take many months if not years as there are hundreds of books in Forgotten Realms, but I think I am up to the task!

Also, Audible (an audiobooks company owned by amazon) has released over 400 unabridged audio books for previously released d&d novels in the past 2 months.

I saw that!!! They are just a bit more pricey than the ebooks... Still really cool that they did that. May have to check some of them out.

Yeah, I do a lot of driving though commuting, and the cops really frown on me reading ebooks while I drive ;)

I go through over an audiobook a week on my commute :(
