Hero of the North Weekend Friend Key

So which beta weekend will these keys work for? I'd like to give it to someone but they already have a key registered from purchasing Torchlight II. If the key doesnt give them access this weekend, I'd offer it to someone else.

    I'd love the friend beta key for the first Beta weekend, if possible. :)

    unfortunately I have several people in mind for it already :) I just want to make sure it can be used for this weekend before I give it to its proper owner

    It would appear that friends keys are for beta weekend's 2 or 3.

    I am under the assumption that the key will work for whatever beta they use it before. Clarification would be nice as I did give it away with the intention that it would work this weekend in hopes of promoting further sales :)

    Exactly, the only keys mentioned for week one are the founder pack keys.

    They're not mentioned in the thread at all.

    I too have a few friends in mind for the key and I would like official confirmation before the weekend please.

    well, by that logic these keys wont work for any of the beta weekends.

    Which doesn't make much sense to me. Although, wouldn't "Hero of the North Founder's Pack purchasers" include the buddy key?

    The Beta Weekend Friend Key is part of the Hero of the North pack ergo it would make sense to allow the friend to play during the first weekend if he registers it on time.

    While I agree it makes sense, just because something makes sense doesn't mean that's the way it will be done. :)

    My brother gave me a key and we think it will be for this first weekend. The email said:
    Thank you for purchasing the Neverwinter "Hero of the North" Founder's Pack! Below is your Neverwinter Beta Weekend Friend Key to share with a friend. Invite them to join your party on an adventure in the Forgotten Realms!

    The above seems to imply they play on the same weekend as the Founder. I entered the key and I have access to the download page, though the download buttons are greyed out still.

    Think everyone has access to the download page (easily navigated to by clicking on the tantalising/taunting Download Button on the Home page) Clarification for this would be great.

    So nothing solid on this? Meh, screw it ill just give it to someone whos already registered the key and <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> it away.

    I was going to hold off giving it out until the Download become available/more information.

    Fair enough. Ill wait til thursday to hand it out. Ive already asked twice on twitter, and this thread here. I know theyre swamped but they didnt clarify too much on it. In fact, it almost reads like the key is only good for a single beta weekend

    There was a post from a CM that said that the buddy key was for "a weekend". So I assume it is just for one.

    It would be really nice if they actually gave out some freaking info on this and a lot of other important questions since we have around 3 days left before the first beta. Starting to regret spending my money but I want to stick it out since I do love the settings this game is based on.

    I think they will work on any weekend.

    Well the person I used my friend key on has gotten his email about the times for this beta weekend...so it is my guess that he is in, and therefore the friend key works on that weekend if used prior to it's opening time, though an official confirmation wouldn't hurt.

    I received a friend beta key also and I'm able to download Neverwinter right now so hopefully that means I can play in the first beta weekend. :D
    My brother only has the PC gamer key and is still unable to download the game so that must mean something!

    I received a friend key and have been unable to patch the game. When I click the key he sent me, it shows that I redeemed it last night but I don't have access to the beta forums and the main download page is still greyed out for me (was able to download the client with a direct link from said friend).

    Has there been any more word on this? I never even received an e-mail after I activated the key.
