Since me beloved Half-Orc's aint gonna be in at launch, unless they make um a cash shop item, probably will go with a Half-Elf Wizzy. Next will be either a Half-Elf, or Human GWF,..... but why not a Halfling GWF? See if i can freak out the server with that.

Keaolian will have to wait to be a elf druid
In the meantime I will have to settle for Elven wizard and have to hope there is sone kind of summoning and elemental blasting available
Played a chanter in Eq and I am hoping thats not what they mean when they say "Control Wizard"

I have played tanks in other MMOs but I am thinking of going Rogue in NW. Not sure yet. Going to use beta to decide what play style in this game suits me.

Control Wizard, as always, most likely with some form of "wiz" or "sorce" in my name... It's a magic addiction.

Dwarf Cleric, Elf Wizard, and wishing there was an archer.

Guardian fighter or control wizard for me. Play styles seem to be polar opposites so it should give me a good sample of things to come.

In DDO I played a ranger, and a cleric.

I think i'll have to start out with a Drow Cleric, they have always intrigued me. Plus, I can be somewhat evil for a change ;)

Renegade Drow Ranger, any other class i play is because i have no choice until the Ranger arrives. Arrows lots and lots of arrows.

Maybe Dwarf Guardian Fighter or Cleric. I hope they'll introduce halflings, my most memorable characters in 3rd ed were halflings.

I am curious how a Cleric will be.

If that is a fail (on my part )

I'll be going for the Guardian Fighter

I think my first char will be a half-elf guardian fighter. I want to know if shield-wielding actually looks good in this game. In most other games it looks horrible in my opinion :p. Maybe I will have some fun playing a tank in this game. I'm excited about the first beta weekend :).

If available I would also like to test a leader class, but I'm not a great fan of the cleric. If the bard or even the warlord are available, I think I would test them first before trying the gurdian fighter. But i havn't heard anything about those classes beeing integrated into the game.

My main will most definitely be a Drow Rogue.

And then I'll end up with an army of alts made up of everything. :)

This isn't 3rd edition d&d. I am going to match what ever class and race seems fun to play at the moment of creation.

I will be playing a Human Guardian Fighter, who is a devout follower of Tempus. This adventurer has made his way to Neverwinter in search of the Ashmadai (spits on the ground), to avenge his murdered family.

Tiefling Great weapon Fighter.... Would love to have had a Warlord instead but.. don't think that's gonna happen for awhile.

(Ideally i'd like too see each of the 3 roles filled by each of the "Types", I.E. A Tanky Rogue, a Damaging rogue (Trickster), A Healing/Buffing Rogue (Bard more then Likly). A Tanky Holy man (Paladin), A Damaging Holy Man (Avenger) and a Healer one (Cleric). Same goes for Fighters and Mages (Great Weapon Fighter, Guardian Fighter and Warlord, Mage, Battle mage and Warlock?). Anyway... Tangent)
Diplomancy: Sometimes "I hit it with my Axe" is the only Answer.
A Challenge is something interesting and awkward until you beat it... then it's called "Repetative"

I'm a true newbie to D&D (believe it or not). In other games I've always played hunter/ranger types. I see that is not going to be available at first so I'm at a bit of a loss. Looks like Control Wizard is the only ranged attack class at this point. But, I also like to complement a party rather than be another class that it already has. Its sounding like Cleric is not being mentioned much so I may go that way....since I have to learn as a beginner anyway.
