founders packs <delayed> today?

im just gonna go ahead and ask. all these (when is the packs coming) time to lay down the gauntlet. are the packs canceled for today?

    I've been waiting to see where I can buy two, one for me and one for a friend as they said it would be released today... unless its some kinda time zone issue? it is currently 20:20 GTM on 29th.

    by this time, im willing to bet there not gonna be up and running today. though a simple (were having issues at this time) would have been nice. all facebook got was a poll asking what you would like to play lol. ah well there not going anywhere. next time they need to not release info that says (tommorw) unless they can deliver. still love you though cryptic

    yeah it would have been nice if they had post a sticky or update on the website about it. They may come out today but i kinda doubt it too. We'll see.

    also i do hope you give us enough time to download the beta. honestly you should make the beta client avaible to download as soon as you buy the pack that way it gives players plenty enough time to download and patch up the client before next weekend :-)

    They put that they were having issues on the German site, of course the english one always gets the info last

    I agree we need to download beta, with my net speeds I will need a few hours, more if it disconnects

    I am getting reports from various sources that the international promotions for this were delayed, not cancelled. I am asking for official clarification about our promotion here in the Americas. Please stay tuned. I can assure you though, it has not been "cancelled" - if anything it may have been delayed.

    Various sources? You mean you don't have one official source you report to?

    yup no word and no updates so far. thanks for letting us down. whatever is your loss. You guys missed out on the money by not having it up and running today. youd think all the hard work on Neverwinter youve put into the game the last few months youd like to see some return on it. but hey "technical issues".. guess we just have a wait.

    a update about it would have been nice however.

    Does that mean today or not today?! It would be sooo much better if they just announced a delay until tomorrow or Friday or whatever but this nebulous answer doesn't help at all! We already knew the sale was delayed. Bizarro.

    yikes hope they post it soon, i gave away my code from another game pack in anticipation of buying one of these founder packs.../gulp

    Just a reconfirmation the packs are not cancelled, merely delayed.

    They won't cancel. It's delayed due to some internal issue, I'm sure (or they are getting feedback before posting what you get due to immediate responses).

    There is too much money to be made from the founder's pack to cancel entirely, and they already announced them. Cancelling them would just blunt interest in the game as a whole, leading to lower revenue and the general feeling that PWE (Cryptic) won't keep to promised delivery.

    Bad press like that can kill a game out of the gate, even if it's a perfect experience, so I can't see them committing suicide like that.

    its ok i have a very non-social life these days and wanted some attention, dont mind me...lol hence why i typed the /gulp emote...:rolleyes:, and yes i did actually give a work friend a key so someone else may enjoy this sometime in beta :P
