I'd like to see Elminster! (Even if only a passing glance!) The Simbul would be a sight I'd really love to behold in game as well. I'm easy to please with NPCs though... I'll be just as happy to see any NPC that I have read about in Novels and Source material.
Aribeth de Tylmarande -> well, she should still be around after only 100 years
Sharwyn -> never go about without a good adventurer (probably with romantic options?)
Haedraline -> turnssssss up alwayssss unexpected ssss
Deekin Scalesinger -> great storyteller
Neeshka -> would be dead by now, she could be frozen or something (probably with romantic options?)

Lets try to keep suggestions that are reasonable and not fanboism. Aribeth....seriously? Perhaps you forgot the whole execution of her.
Well if Drizzt is in game I wonder if we get to see his pet, Guenwyvar?

I got a PM asking me why the old thread was locked and somebody's post was moved.
Please read the Neverwinter Rules of Conduct. Threads with posts over 30 days old are not to be posted in let alone several months old! Make a new topic like Zebular did. Asking me only why your thread was moved when I didn't close the thread though is a little uncertain; fortunately I was aware of this issue. Remember, PM all of us mods since if only one of us is messaged, the other ones responsible won't know until we log in, and I had other diagnosis work for several hours today. All of us moderators in a nice pre-PM'ed format are: ambisinisterr; bubbabinsky; iamtruthseeker; zebular;
So, if there are posts on a long inactive thread (2 or more months old but technically 30 days or older is the rule,) and there are extenuating circumstances (like a character class just announced and the thread is about announced or new character classes that happened to go inactive in November,) PM us BEFORE you make a new post to ask for that specific thread to be "resurrected" or proactively create a new thread instead if there is any old topic like this.
Or else, we deserve the right to close the thread noting it's an old necroed thread and not to create a new one in the future. I'm not saying we always will, but more often than not we would. We'll ask if there's still interest to make a new thread unless we see a heavy response, or then SOMETIMES we'll prune those new responses to a new thread.
Sorry for those who didn't get this, but again, just take a few minutes to review those forum rules of conduct. They are pretty self-explanatory, and now you know this already so that's one less topic to read!
