I'll give you a weird one, this is old school. Cuz I'm an old guy who's been listening to techno/edm/dubstep for a long time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qatL0Z0L13c
I have a thing for classical sounds and instruments in my electronic music. I like the violin stuff thanks for sharing

It's a relatively recent development in techno/electronic dance music I'd say it's only been widely popular enough to be its own genre in the last two years. Probably the closest related predecessor would be Drum and Base.
There's a few artists that have been around long enough to survive and flourish in these transitions - I'll link a few of note here and note where they began and what they've become (well, they've become Dubstep, I guess).
Pendulum is a great band. Like another of the bands I'll be listing here, they've been strongly influenced by Rock genres - Pendulum usually appears on stage as a band, drums, guitars, the works. This isn't one of their earliest tunes, but it definitely qualifies better as Drum and Bass rather than Dubstep.
But here you can really noet the influences from Rock during the first half of the tune, and the Dubstep influences in the second half of the tune. It actually appeared as 2 tracks on the album.
Probably the most notable producer of dubstep music today is Skrillex, who was in a heavy metal band before he became a DJ. He has a lot of very popular music out now. He's also very new, so I can't really point to his early work and note differences between it and his modern work. But here's a sample. It has the added benefit of being a kick-HAMSTER official video.
And then there's the famous house/trance producer Deadmau5 from Canada. Like pretty much all EDM DJs, he's adapted his style to appeal to a new generation of listeners interested in techno and dubstep. His earliest work sounds like Drum and Bass - he became famous for his House tracks - and he's now releasing House tracks with a very strong Dub influence. I'll list the tracks in that order.
(so that second deadmau5 track I listed actually has Rob Swire from Pendulum as a guest vocalist).
It's also worth noting that Pendulum has dissolved and the members still producing music are known as Knife Party (the name of a Deftones track, the metal band)
This song is really funny. "You blocked me on Facebook, and now, you're going to die!"

For something that sounds a bit more "organic" you might search for other tracks by Robert Miles, who I listed above, and listen to his album aptly named, "organik," and it's also worth talking about The Glitch Mob, who I feel dually inclined to mention here because I was just talking about how awesome they are with a few guys at hack slash repeat.

Check out gothtrad. He's an amazing producer. "back to chill" and "law"(original not the remix) are great tracks.
Benga, digital mystiks (now mala and coki separately), and n-type are all amazing DJ's.
"loung dub" by vista is another amazing track. I haven't heard a sound like it in any other tracks.
My 2 cents.
