So i have an idea: If possible someone here on the forum build a calendar of 1st quarter 2013 about beta release date.
voting will be only for registers users here on the forum and only when someone vote can be able to see what others have vote.voting will end when beta announced. 3 winners of the date of beta, wins from one key. If there are more than 3 people that guess correctly the date, have to through a dice of 1 to 20 bigger number wins.(THE NUMBER OF THE DICE WILL BE ATTACHED NEXT TO USERS NAME) in case of = through again. something like a tournament. But in order this to happen needs to be confirmed from the devs. What you guys think?
Those who already have a key based on there accounts must be excluded from contest.

Good luck with it. Only one contest was held so far after huge cries and demands. After that they again went to hibernation mode. Lets see if you can wake them up from their hibernation.
Polar bears hibernate in winters, but they do so even where it never...
Its only 3 keys so its not a big deal for them i guess. It will be a nice gesture from the dels and lets not forget this is the official Neverwinter Forum after all.
I have a beta key already its for the people that don't have and really want one.
lol watch them post like "Beta is going to start at the end of feb and only be playable 2 days every other week for 2 months ;/ tera did that, was lame..
I don't really like this idea. I am not for it, because it just seems like the OP just wants a chance to get into the beta to just play the game ahead of everyone else.

I see nothing wrong to be eager for a chance to get into beta - as long as the other party does not break NDA or does something detrimental to the game.
Also only one contest of any kind has been held till now, the halloween one. In 2+years of the people talking about it on forums.
And enter the beta, is giving feedback to make the game better not an early start. Early start is not always good for some people exploit the story and play the game from the beginning that is not what you always like. You do it only when you like the concept and the gameplay. If you are a d&d player you know what i mean.

There is always a complete wipe after close beta. So getting ahead etc etc etc does not matter at all. I can assure you that cryptic will wipe all data clean after close beta. Open beta I am not sure as PWE has a habit to have open beta only when everything except cash shop has to be implemented. So they don't really need to wipe as it is gestation period for game before they introduce shop.
Also there is no reason to feel a person who takes pain to post on forum will not participate in any discussion on beta forums about bugs, feedback and tests. Especially, if while playing the player gets stuck, they are sure to tell the GM to get the problem resolved.
