If R.A.Salvatore plays Neverwinter?

If R.A.Salvtore decided to play Neverwinter would He get to play Drizzt? Do you think he could name his character that? Or would it be blocked from being used?
What kind of UGC would he create? What guild would he join?
I just thought it would be interesting to guess how things would work out if he was playing Neverwinter. You can add your own questions and answers.

    I doubt, even considering Mr. Salvatore's stature, that he would be given the option of playing Drizzt. My understanding is that he will be an NPC in the game and players will actually be able to interact with him. Frankly, were I Mr. Salvatore, I would love to create a new character (annoymously) and adventure in the realms that he brought to life with his written words! Were the players to discover he was actually playing in the game, he would be hounded and pestered beyond belief.

    I know he was a World of Warcraft player in the past. May still be.

    It would probably be something along the lines of what Felicia Day said, the moment your character becomes famous it dies to you. Everyone wants to be them. She can't make her character on any game on any server she doesn't already play on because its always taken.

    If Mr. Salvatore played NWO, I bet he'd play as Pickle.

    Well, anyone will be able to use just about any name (I don't suggest trying anything profane, however)- it's the @handle that makes a character unique. There could very well be an army of characters named Drizzt roaming around, killing things. and feeling sad about life

    Imagine a guild only accepting characters with the name "Drizzt"......
    I believe it ... and there'll be no shortage of members.

    thinks of klein (of SAO) actions at the beginning.his 1st mob .. boar ^^
    tries to think of a battalion of "drizzt" acting like the klein then. -.-;

    Having watched a few interviews with him, I would bet that Mr. Salvatore will play NWN. I'm sure only his friends will know who he is though, famous people play MMOs all the time, you might have even Hunted with one and never had a clue! :P

    Did they ever follow up and release any more videos? The last I saw was their confrontation with the overprotective mother (dragon lady). Pretty cool story! :)

    I know the answer!!!!

    It would be highly unlikely for him to play as Drizzt or any of his other characters. He actually had an interview once where he said that after he wrote the novels he got a lot of mail from angry DM's around the world...

    '...Well do what I do...don't let them.'
    'Why not?'
    'Because they're too damn awesome and powerful!'

    I actually don't think he plays games using his character's names. However if somebody is picking on you for doing so it may just be him ;)

    If there is an option to be evil, that's what salvatore would be doing. Breaking the monotony of being a dogooder....he did after all tried to kill drizzt when baldurs gate came out.
