So i have reported this player and i really hope the devs look into it properly. Because of all the auto messages from reports we never actually know the outcome.... thoughts anyone on this toxicity in the community?

Because such issues are between Cryptic and the reported. As is the outcome.

Well, I've never been on the receiving end of anything like that and I'm sorry that you were. I hope they consider it fairly.

In the image, your chat only shows character name and it does not show player's @ handle. It can be hard to find out the exact player because the same character name can be used by multiple player. Also, the 'time' when that happened is also important. You need to provide date and your own time zone though.

There is a setting to show player's handle and time.

And posting such on the forums violates the "naming and shaming" clause of the forum rules.

I do have the handler name I just didnt share it here due to privacy but i sent that to the devs, and just posting here so people can be aware of some toxicity and hopefully also report such players. i want the devs to know and see how effected i am because this is not just normal hate message and its not okay to say this to anyone.

    Hello @kittend,

We are sorry to hear that you experienced this, and we encourage you to report any violation of our Terms of Service to our Customer Support team, by opening a ticket through our website: https://support.arcgames.com/hc/en/requests/new

We do not tolerate insults or harassment and we will take action if necessary. We would need the @handle of the player and if possible, the date and time when it happened to facilitate the investigation.

    Regards,

If you know what guild / alliance they are in, send the guild master a polite but firm message about the incident as well. Screenshots help, especially with time/date option showing in chat log as well as @handle.

I reported some very rude players. Harassing, trolling and blocking others in a certain dungeon. I got a copy paste answer from support similat to Percemers. And many in alliance had them on their ignore list as well. Some even reported them for same thing even month before me. (found that out later)

I send chatlogs, i send screenshots, i asked support if i had ever to play with them again if i put them on ignore list. I got another copy paste answer similar to percemers.

And guess what ... 2 month later i had the same issue in puq with the exact same ppl . DIdnt notice until after the run.
(I wondered why it was such a strange run - the trolling behaviorpattern where the same - and i got very positive feedback from the rest of the team after the run - as i couldnt read what the trolls where writing, the conversation must have been quite strange for the rest of the team, as i was totaly not reacting on the trolling - i only found out later that 2 players of the team where on my ignore list - and then it dawned on me and the feedback from the others made totally sense).

Cryptic doesnt care and claiming they do is just a lie. Dont bother reporting anybody - just put them on ignore list. More you cant do. Reporting is waste of time...

When you use the report function in game all necessary data to identify the player is saved and, as far as I know, your chat buffer for a bit backwards.

Right click the players name and 'Report Offensive Player'.

This forum is not the right place for such issues.
