How do i hide what i looted when in a group

Basically sometimes when in a group people get funny that you kept something you needed that you farmed the lure for and expect you to give everything you farmed for away, so is there an option to hide in the social tab what you picked up?. Im on xbox btw, i asked here as pc is more active.

If it is private loot, others can't see it. If the loot requires a roll (even if it is turned off), others can see it. I don't think you can hide that.

It just depends on the loot setting of the party and each player. Some don't bother with anything below Epic. Hunt lures in a lot of parties is "Greed" only and can cause issues if someone goes "Need" on it. Party leaders will usually set things to "Party Leader Decides" and they'll take whatever dropped that they were hunting for and then offer the rest up to the party.

I think when party leader decides the rest of them can see what goes where which is what they're asking about.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

Yes, they can. The only one you can hide stuff from is yourself.

When it comes to Lure farming, the usual rule is that the person that starts the encounter get the Lures. The big cost is farming the materials to start the encounter, killing it is small stuff.

Usually the group leader enforces this by setting Leader Decides as loot rule.

In your case it sounds like leader forgot, or was not aware of the option.

If you were asked to surrender a looted Lure from an encounter you did not start it really was not yours to start with.

Hi Menti, yeah the issue is whenever i ask for help to kill hunts i get help, but before the fight even starts i get constant "if X drops can i have it pls", and i think, seriously!... Yeah i would never loot someone's drop if they forgot to set the group loot rules, bad reps in this game are not good if you are in a respectable guild which i am.

If you're the one setting up the party just offer free Favors. That way anyone helping out will know not to expect more.

As far as I am aware, there is no option to hide items that you have picked up from other players in the social tab of Neverwinter on Xbox. However, you may be able to prevent other players from seeing your inventory by setting your privacy settings to "Appear Offline" or "Invisible" in your Xbox Live settings. This will prevent other players from seeing that you are online, and therefore, they will not be able to see your inventory or request items from you.

No one can see another's inventory. They can see what you have equipped by inspecting.
