Choice pack not available to purchase for tokens

So apparently those not on the winning team should still be able to purchase the choice pack for 1200 tokens but it is not appearing anywhere. It's not appearing in the event store and someone led me to the hell pit vendor under the tree and told me it was in there (for winning teams) but it's not there either and I wouldn't see it anyway because I was on mashers. The only thing I see is the mask of the fallen still sitting in the masquerade store like it was from the start of the event and if I click on it to buy it says specifically mask of the fallen and I assume it is still a single item purchase of that specific visage (which I bought already) and I don't want two of them and lose my tokens. So where is the choice pack.

So after all this work, what nifty prizes will be available? Unlike previous years, the winning team’s illusion mask will not be awarded directly. Instead, a Masquerade Veil Choice Pack containing masks of the three active teams for that year will be available at the event vendor to claim by members of the winning team. Players not on the winning team will receive a Consolation Prize, which includes 200 Masquerade Tokens and will be able to purchase the Masquerade Veil Choice Pack for 1200 tokens.

Strange, I was on the winning team and see it free at the event vendor. Maybe it was fixed since you last looked? Otherwise it’s a bug for non winning teams.

I've checked many times over and over and logged out and back in over and over and nothing shows up anywhere. I've put in a ticket.

Since it specifie Mask of the three active team, I'd rather say it's that the reward is not "absent", but rather "bugged" from the start and instead of showing a choice pack, it only feature the Fallen mask (which actually should be in that pack too, no reason for it to be available separatly).

I'll submit a ticket too if it appear that the choice pack will be fixed, since I still bought the mask wondering if it was just a description and picture error and if the right pack was given if we choose it, but no, it is unfortunately just the mask itself as feared and showcased by the vendor.

Yea, I bought the mask of the fallen from the vendor towards the beginning of the event and it was exactly what it said it was, the mask of the fallen, it crossed my mind that it may have changed to a pack item after the event was over yet the graphic in the store was in error and still showing the single visage, but I knew if I bought it and it was another visage which I have already, I would lose my 1200 tokens, have an extra visage I didn't want or need, and it would be so much harder to have it fixed later. So I resisted trying to buy it and test it out.

Just before I replied to this post I checked my email and I got another response from support (I had a previous one saying they would look into it for me) this one says one of their senior GM's has "coordinated with the development team regarding this issue and will be addressed in the future" they say they will let the community know "via our official news pages and forums" so I guess they know about it now and it is being attended to and we will just have to wait. It's going to be ultra-annoying seeing other people running around using the visages we wanted but we can't have them for a while because it's bugged, it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth which is not supposed to be how the event makes you feel because it removes the enjoyment the event is supposed to bring to you when it's over and you have rewards from it, but we have no choice but to wait I guess.

in that case, i am glitched, too. i chose it, mostly because it's new. and i have no choice pack in either event store,

@nitocris83 Ello. Getting worried about this as the store will be gone soon. What method of getting the packs to us are they going to use if the store is not there anymore? We have the tokens, could they just deduct the tokens from us and put it in our mail or inventory? There's quite a lot of people who can't get the pack who should have been able to.

Thanks for the response. It's very frustrating to have happened. In my case I did get the 200 token 'consolation prize' but the other part to access the choice pack did not occur with it appearing nowhere and I imagine this is the case for most other people also. Please keep us all posted. Thx.

After internal discussion and verification of documentation, we unfortunately noticed that the blog incorrectly indicated that the Masquerade Veil Choice Pack would be available for purchase by players who were not part of the winning team. These players can however still purchase the Mask of the Fallen for 1200 tokens, and the Cryptic Visage for 1000 tokens. The blog has been modified to fix this error. We apologize for the confusion this error caused and we hope to have past team masks available in the Zen Market in future runs of the event.
