It doesn't always do this but its frequently getting into a state where it cant be completed in time. What happens is as you kill the mobs, they are respawning quickly sometimes even instantly. You are supposed to kill the 6 groups of mobs, then it progresses to the next stage where a patrol spawn and you click the burn totems , then fight 4 waves of barbarians. Killing the extra mobs make it difficult, if not impossible to complete.
