Missing 7 [Scroll of Protection from Dragons, Rank 4] withdrawn, not given!

Hello Adventurer,

Thank you for writing back to us.

Our team has investigated this further and we could not verify any 7 [Potions of Dragon Slaying, Rank 4] being removed from the bank. The only instances that the item was removed are due to the consumption of the 8 potions from June 25 through June 28 with no sign of any items going missing or disappearing. I hope this clarifies your situation.

Your Xxxxx character moved 13 Potions of Dragon Slaying, Rank 4 within the shared bank and only consumed 5 potions that are located from the character's inventory bag between 6/25/2022, 03:54 (UTC) to 6/26/2022 05:36 (UTC). I hope this clarifies your situation.

As I said I disagree because I had 20 [Portions of Dragon Slaying, Rank 4] & 20 [Scroll of Protection from Dragons, Rank 4] in my bank at the time. I would not use 1 without the other. Yet I could never USE them, because they never showed up in Inventory; and yes I checked all my Bags!

Yet still have -7 less Slaying potions withdrawn from Shared Bank, than I do in Protection from my shared bank! And if they only see when consumed, they'd also see both Slaying & Protection would be equal consumption as well, because I wouldn't do one without the other! So clearly their LOGs don't TELL the full TRUTH. Yet they completely Ignored the claim why did they not see +7 placed into personal Inventory, or the -7 withdrawn from Shared Bank?

Nothing I can do, just eat the cost... ...they don't even acknowledge the -7 withdrawn from the bank, yet they were clearly withdrawn just never showed up in Inventory.

I've never had this happen to me before, yet I know this has sometimes happened to many others on rare occasion, over the years in the past! It's also the sole reason why they later implemented PROTECTION on items perhaps in 2017, just strangely you can't protect these items (Dragon Potions) similar to Greater Stones of Health. So that sadly doesn't help either, and no I didn't delete them or discard them. :(

I had a friend summon the BANK as I haven't activated my VIP R12 again yet, then I selected 7 to withdraw, yet then they switched characters at that time so bank disappeared, yet NEVER saw the +7 in my Inventory. When I went to the bank I saw it withdraw had withdrawn -7 from bank, yet they weren't also in inventory.

Nothing I can do but spend diamonds now to replace my missing Potions, they NEVER gave me from my Shared Bank. :(

    This probably is not that case. Just in a rare case, did you check your belt slot?

    Belt Slots? Customer Service never said to check that, I don't know how a Dragon Slayer potion be added to a Belt.

    As I said, this is probably is not the case but you can put the potion to the belt slot.

    No they definitely weren't slotted, because they never even showed up in inventory! I have Forger's Box, Wand of Wander, and Great Stones of Health in the 3 slots on all toons. It did withdraw 7 from bank, yet Customer Service never even said they saw -7 withdrawn from shared bank despite they were. Why I asked why they didn't see the +7 added to personal inventory! They only identified those I consumed, which isn't even what I asked them to check. They seemed to look at the wrong thing... *sigh*

    I wasn't concerned about the ones I withdrew and used, as I know I had 20 of each in bank at the time. So they aren't educated, or don't have the tools to see withdrawals (-7) & the missing (+7) which would CONFIRM my claims.

    Note: One would think if -7 is shown from Bank, then if +7 isn't shown to personal inventory; they should be able to grant them. :'(

    I mean in the scale of things, this is small potatoes really. People have lost things far more valuable, and never got them back either. Things going missing from bank and not showing up in Inventory, was the whole reason they originally added the right-click to protect various items; yet here you can't protect health stones or potions. I also didn't delete them...

    Yea I understand, still I never deleted them. Also they used to allow Consumables to be protected, and they don't prevent them from being used either. Still they allow Enchanting Stones, and Glyph's to be protected currently.

    My concern is more around the fact is they should have the TOOLS to see -7 were withdrawn from bank, and should also see there was NOT +7 added to personal inventory balance as well. :'(

    I'll have to eat the cost here, even though the mistake is on Cryptic's end--not mine. *sigh*

    what was the replacement cost of these lost items vs all the time"invested" so far "bug chasing " ?

    Also remember that people employed as Customer Support are not employed by Cryptic, they are employed by the publisher. So they can only see what the game data tells them, and go from there.

    I (was) required to do similar investigations for work (although a completely different field, it is still searching through data/transactional information). And honestly, this just seems lazy.

    There is minimal information given to you regarding what was found (either by the GM, or one of the underlings).

    I always provide as much relevant information as possible to the stakeholders in question (whether that be a customer or internal business contact) to show evidence of my claims/investigation.

    (I'll put in here, that although I'm no longer in a role that requires me to perform these investigations as often, I still have internal stakeholders approach me to perform these tasks, for several reasons, efficiency, complete information, and high resolutions).
