Wizard, thaumaturge: smolder feats bug, no smolder damage at all

Hello, I noticed a new bug with some smolder related feats.
Both Chilling Advantage and Directed Flames feats are bad and useless when taken alone, but if you pick both, Smolder just does nothing anymore. You see the red smolder icon on foes with you cast any fire spell or the blue rimefire icon when you cast any cold spell, but that's all. There is no longer any smolder damage.
All wizards are complaining about the Thaumaturge paragon since years, especially about the fire aspect and the smolder mechanics. It would be more than time to fix this.

In theory, all feat combinations are possibe, some better than others. But a combination that kills 2 mechanics (smolder and chill) and 2 other feats, that's great.

a fire wizard must have pissed in the dev's cornflakes because each update makes fire skills and feats worse and worse.
Sucks hard for me since my main was a fire themed wizard.
I too wish to be recreated, and to be loved long after my death.

Personally, I would love to see some actual D&D spells Melf's Minute Meteors, Melf's Acid Arrow, Color Spray etc.
