Communication at its finest (c) Put a warning about such big change only for a day before they happened and only in twitter and this half-dead forum, an official news page was updated just in last moment. Also these patchnotes looks more like a summary of all previous developer blogposts, where the real changes (changes in magnitudes and feats, a mention of constantly working CA on bosses and so on) are?
So, there's no mention about Radiant/Empowered Exchange in these patch notes.... did that not make it to Live?
I've based my decision about playing or not, on that fact ...
The Owlbear preview shard looks to have this afternoon's build up at the moment (same build number, at least). It has bonding exchange enabled, but not radiant/empowered exchange. It's on the mod 20 preview shard, but not this one.
My guess is bonding exchange now, radiant exchange with mod 20...? But it would be nice to have communicated what the plan is with regards to it, given it is fairly common knowledge amongst those who have engaged with preview.
any exchange that gives back bound items when you give unbound items is useless and only new players who are clueless will use it and then when the next change happens they will feel scammed ..............awesome job devs!

To be fair they warned all of us back in.... november was it?
Don't confuse skill with a little luck you daft fool
lionheart is nerfed on the owlbear server, so devs make decisions now because ppl are "complaining" .......lmfao great way to run a company .....just blows my mind
Is the maintenance still ongoing, because as I see the server is down, but I am not sure if this is a problem on my end or not? I just decided to give a try to this game and I don't know if I managed to install something wrong or just the maintenance takes a bit more time. Sorry if this comment does not belong here.
"From the Reward Claims Agent, you’ll be able to claim for free: A pack of 20 Companion Upgrade Tokens A pack of 20 Mount Upgrade Tokens Your choice of a Legendary Insignia Your choice of a Rank 15 Runestone Your choice of a Rank 15 Single-Stat Enchantment"
Cool, nice... but one question: Claim per account or claim per character?
To be honest I would be fine with either but with runes so strong I guess making them bound to character and claimable for all characters would be nice.
It would avoid making one character op, won't collapse runes and enchants market.
Alternatively account bound... well this one would make one of my charas godlike... with 11 old 70+ lvls XD

Yes, the EUT has changed from 9:00 to 9:30 and now to 10:00. This happens with almost every game when there is a significant update with code changes more substantial than a few bug fixes. It's not just this one -- it's all of them. When there is a lot of code being changed, expect the original EUT to be *way* too optimistic. At least now the patch is downloading and installing, which usually means it's fairly close.

Hey, thanks for the heads up man. Seems that I managed to start this game at its new phase I guess, given that big code change! I can't wait to see this game

Routine weekly maintenance is generally scheduled from 7-9 AM Pacific Time, and in reality it usually doesn't take much more than an hour -- usually back by about 8:15 AM. But when a lot of code is moving, as with this one (let alone February 9), expect several hours even if the original estimate says less. Again, that is true of every MMO I've ever played.

Anyone else struggling to defeat simple enemy mobs? Enemies take 3x more time to defeat now and they deal much more damage, I almost got slaughtered by a group of 5 simple Nashers in River District today that I destroyed yesterday with no problem (longtime Level 80 warden). Suddenly enemies in zones that I completed months ago are as difficult to survive as if I was just starting the campaign. Very confused and disappointed with how OP and tough the mobs are, hope this gets fixed soon.

2 questions: Did you try to trade your HP Guild boon for Defense or Awareness? Or your old hp campaign boons for defensive status?

No, I didn't change anything from yesterday to when I logged on this morning.
I' not sure if anyone will see this or not but please turn autoplay off on the launcher. it is very hard for those of us with sensitivity to flashing lights to have it autoplay and it also causes the launcher to freeze and lag.

@lauralh28#5972 Yesterday I did 2 Minors Encounters Solo in River, and yes were more difficult at the same time i did not level my char completely, so it is understanding that it was not totally as old as in the old days. The BHE in Barovia was a challenge, the Barbarians do a frightening damage, but even so, it's not such an impossible content to accomplish. In Avernus everything was as it was, I killed some mob's easily and some Fighters, I didn't get to test the encounters because my time was running out. In addition to all this, I also failed in a LoMM at REDQ because some of the other players had no equipment for it and the same problem occurred in Tiamat, but I completed a CoDG and I was quite happy as he reminded me of the original taking clear, death without return when falling from the platform. Today I will test IC, HC Dungeons (if any more crazy are interested) and other zones to report here about what I found.
I spent yesterday doing the swap out for bonding runestones etc so didn't play. Forgot about the combat changes and got a nasty surprise on a lvl 20 character recently made. Kobolds kicked my dwarf butt in the early sewer quest and died twice finishing it. Just created a new toon today to see how this change impacts new players but not impressed so far.
