From a canonical standpoint or will the race in-game wear them? Aasimar are the result of a union between humanoids and celestials, and the opposite of Tieflings. Their canonical favored classes have often been clerics and paladins, so from that point of view, helmets are certainly useable. The in-game artwork suggests a human-like appearance, so helmets again *should* be a feasible option.

The only reason Dragonborn couldn't have a lot of helms was because of the head structure...Aasimar will not have that issue because they have normal human heads.

They are human in appearance with, possibly, some glowing eyes or a weird skin color. No reason why they wouldn't be able to wear helmets.
