Issues with friend list after the last maintenance

Since the last maintenance my friend list got somehow bugged. I can see in the notifications that my friends are logging in (not logging out tho), but they are not shown as online in the friendlist. I can only see the ones who were already online before I entered the game.
I asked around and seems like many of my contacts are facing the same issues. I am online in the game but they can't see me online in their friendlist.

    Noticed it as well.

    Gameplay bug (Friend list bugged) After the last patch looking in friends list it has not been showing people who are on but showing them as being offline. I know the person is on because in chat it would say they came online or that person is in the same guild or alliance because they either say something in that chat but you try send them a tell it will say they are offline. Also a friend invited me to party and it showed I was in his party but he did not see that I was in his party. This also makes it hard to invite someone to party or to a que group.

    This happened to our caller/organizer for ToMM last night. Issues being able to "see" friends, but not able to invite. Or not being able to see a friend was online that was literally in the queue group with him. Others said they had been having the same issue the night before as well.

    I can confirm this issue is happening to a lot of people in my guild and alliance if not everyone.
    For example I can see friends in my guild in the guild roster but not in my friends list.
    Have seen it where I was in the same instance as a friend looking right at him, yet in the friends list he was offline.
    Usually porting to another zone, updates the list.
    But then when a friend switches zone or toon, they disappear from the list again.

    Thought it was just me, I noticed it over the weekend.

    Same thing here; when a friend change map- he appears offline on my friends list.Also,when a friend logs off,log says: "... has logged on"

    Also, frequently when a friend is online, the chat server will give an error message that the user is offline, even when I can see them on.
