I would like first to say that the new trial is amazing (and im sure this positive comment is gonna be one of the few you're gonna read on the forum about this content) incredibly hard and i would like you devs to stay strong in front of the whining wave coming ahead! Don't make it a LoMM 2.0 please.
When can we expect more unlocked quests for the new campaign? When can we expect to see new professions items since we can now upgrade professions in Workshop?
I haven't done any gameplay, only been on to check one of the aspects i was concerned about and i must say, good job devs, you are actually listening abit more than you used to. Some of the new gear are a good replacement for the old mod15 and previous gears that were still BiS in mod16 due to the bonuses being better. But there are a few stuff i dint personally like and i hope this is subject to change, the variety on rings and companion gear is abit off, there are like 4 varieties of rings with the bonus of "10% damage against beasts" while some of the other classes specific rings like "3% to melee/range powers" only have 1 variety, and i believe there should be the same amount of variation with all the bonuses, same applies to the companion gear, too many "defense/offense slot" gear compared to the others.
From what i saw, none of the mod17 headpiece is better than the mod16 prestege charmed hat, the boots are just as good as mod16 boots or even worse.
If your objective is to make all new gear potentially better than previous ones, just inspect all classes in game and see what most people use, take the bonuses on each piece and apply it to the new gear, cos no matter how you see it 5% damage is 5% damage and its gonna be better than anything that gives less than 5% damage, i mean, its quite obvious. But nonetheless the mod17 gear and bonuses are alot better than succesor gear.

Only thing I'm really wondering about is professions. They reworked them entirely in m15, do absolutely nothing but a few minor bug fixes to them in m16 - but raised the level cap without adding anything new to make. If you can't make stuff in m17, there is still 0 point in even bothering with professions, which makes most of the work that the devs did on them for m15 is just sitting there, a waste of effort.

* I absolutely hate the golden frog mount, I think its gross as well as new race that looks horrifying, now keep in mind that this is my point of view on it, I don't like it at all.
* New PE looks grate, I like that it's reorganized where event is, st.knox and sybella after 80lvl it's much better now.
* I can not believe that there is not a single change to wizard skills, so I must ask. How many more years do I need to wait for you guys to improve just 1 skill, conduit of ice? the skill is seriously outdated where party members are able to one shot that enemy with it and the wizard getting absolutely nothing from the skill, not a single tick of damage, just a useless skill with a cooldown most of the time. I bet it would take you less then 30 min to re-code that skill and rename it to ice storm lets say, with it casting on the targeted enemy position, I mean warlocks have it, they have most of the wizard skill (a bit of a ripoff) just different name and looks "hellish" but does in general same thing as conduit of ice and that's not the only one like it, the one where warlock pools enemy into air has absolute same effect and animation as wizards entangment force. So in theory you already re-done some of the wizard skills already and put then on warlock but no changes to wizard?! Now hold on this don't seem right? But it is true, do please do something about that one skill for me it means everything, it gets me so upset that I just want to stop playing the game, I would happly change the class just to play the game but I have no energie to do all the campagains for the 5th time, it's to much exausting. I higly doubt anything will be done, but I give it one more shot before I stop to play again and this time might be longer then 8 months, who knows maybe I never comeback since nothing is done for the class I like. I'm sad.
* If you where to update old campagain to give more recorses for that campagain that might atract some new players into the game (like undermountant one) and make it a more enjoyable experience for them. I dont think it appeling to many people to play 1 campagain for a month and every single day to make progress on it e.g Underdark takes 30 days to finish, that gets to point where it is just annoying for some people, and it not gonna get you more players into game game for sure in fact it might drive some away (keep in mind that I have 4 end game toons with ALL campagains done).
Just played abit, did expeditions and kessels retreat, and all i can say is WELL DONE DEVS, some of the fixes are brilliant and the gameplay is much more fun, percentages are much more in line with the game changes, ap gain is much better compared to mod16, the ap stat is now taken into account, control bonus is noticeable. Later in the day i'll test companions and see if there were any fixes to the " % proc" companions. But from my ~ 1 hour of gameplay, i already enjoyed it more than i enjoyed mod16.

I hadn't seen this thread and posted this in the preview patch notes, but I think it makes more sense here:
About the new Appearence system:
Can you provide an option to add any piece of gear that you have unlocked in your collections to the appearance library, even if it costs AD or some amount of currency campaign to do it? The use case is: there are some unique items that cannot be obtained more than once (like Morlanth's Shroud), and some that require a considerable amount of grind to obtain (like restored gear from older campaigns).
This may not be a problem for new players (they can just add the item directly to the library instead of deleting them), but for existing players that already lost unique items or already did the grind for restored gear, an option to add an item from the collections page to the library would be awesome, even if it costs AD or something.

1. Are new recipes and anything else profession related going to be coming along with m17? 2. Which dungeon is going to be the one that comes with Tales Of Old on Aug 29? 3. Can you find out what the crit heal formula is? 4. Is the rewards coming from Tales Of Old going to be worth running it? 5. When is PVP map going to be available for m17 preview? 6. What mode will the new pvp map support? Is it just Domination?
Have you thought about giving the Demon Lord Set Bonus the same "After use of a Daily Power... " Condition like the Mod16 Artifact Set Boni?
I'm sure a lot of people won't agree with this, but I think it would put it more in line with the new Artifact Sets and justify the use of other Sets (as the Demo Set outperforms these in most cases by a lot because it has no downtime).
Is it intended to summon the special master expedition bosses when only using one rune in warden expedition? (and that the boss can leave the room and does not get desummoned after I died - making it very difficult to advance if I cannot kill the special boss?
Not for the character but for companion and I didn't see any. 9 round of ME everyday not a single companion ring drop. Even from Obaya the ring she gave was only for character and not for companion.
Can we please get a summery for this stream so us who are unable to view it aren't left in the dark?

I'm not totally deaf.. but i definitely am hearing impaired. following these streams is nearly impossible. a transcript would be greatly appreciated. I believe there are players who ARE deaf. it would be a service for your handicapped players to have transcripts if not a transcript a summary would work.
The Paladin tank has Smite and the Fighter tank has Shield Throw for range agroo, but nothing for the Barbarian tank? Can we have some love in Mod 17 please? Something similar to a Death Knight's Gorefiend's Grasp would be very nice.
When I mentioned Cloak of the Gith I was talking about the transmute from the Gauntlgrym vendor by Bruenor in Mantol-Derith. All the other races have one so I was wondering if the Gith will have one to.
Best mod 17 improvements in my view would be to add, update and improve servers. A less clunky, smoother game play experience with less lag would be much appreciated. Improve and update the search engine and index for AH. Improve and update companion gear and drops.

Well, you will get at least part of your wish - the collections page on preview shows a pile of new companion gear.

I used to work for microsoft tech procurement. new servers have DAUNTING price tags and replacing memory can be more expensive than a new server.. I highly doubt this game could afford it. my guess is the fleet is just slowly decaying.
Can we expect any tweaks to the Cleric? I have not seen any other class being as upset as cleric mains. DC is outright killed because now you have to stand still, pray and spam heals. AC is brilliant and smooth in combat but it takes up a DPS slot in parties which other classes outperform it in.
sadly if they put a class change token on the zen market, at this point I would change my cleric to a rogue. we lost half our encounters, half our mechanics and all our feats and the class just sucks to play now, i can get groups as dps because i have a lot of friends and she is 25k+, but for a public group all i see is people asking for wizard ranger and rogue, and recently warlock has been getting some love too. Cleric isn't bad at dps, just like you said other classes outperform it. Cleric is probably the strongest healer in the game, but the divinity mechanic makes it really lame to play sometimes, also Arbiter divinity regenerates about 300% faster then Devout outside combat. I hate the whole divinity system, wish we just had cooldowns, or even better no cooldowns, other games do this just fine.
I find that Fighter and Cleric can both produce good damage; however, both have mechanics that force you to play within a window to produce said damage. The fighter overall window is easier to maintain but there is a bit of randomness to maxing out the fighter damage. I also found it funny that someone mentioned how bad a Fighter is at AoE and yet I quickly clear a group of adds no problem on my Fighter. The thing that slows my fighter down is the damage it does on single targets as I forget to swap encounter powers to be more effective, that is on me.
As for my Cleric my AoE damage is ok, not great but the single target damage is IMO the best I have seen by far in game. I'm hitting 500K+ regularly with FF but it requires a specific window to achieve that damage. That window isn't hard to achieve but maintaining it to max out the cleric damage takes quite a bit more work than what is required from other classes. When you are within that window I believe the cleric is the best DD in the game; I even got Angel of Death when I had that window up it allowed me to spam my encounters one after another; I got 4 or 5 FF off each one hitting for over 500K and one hit for around 2M.
I like how the cleric is actually; it takes more skill to produce the bigger hits; I was actually concerned that the cleric would be boring given that at low levels it was but at higher level it is actually fun to play. As for my Fighter again lower levels it was a chore and boring, but at higher levels it takes a little bit to get it going but once it gets going it can hit hard. My wizard is boring because it takes no time at all and I'm hitting hard and doing crazy good damage; same can be said for the ranger.
I wish all classes had a bit more to them so that max damage wasn't easy to obtain. Wizard IMO went from being one of the more complex classes in mod 15 to being one of the easiest classes to produce damage. It sad really that the wizard, which should be complex IMO, is anything but and a cleric which shouldn't be complex has mechanics that we need to pay attention to for damage and healing.
Very pleased with the new race and changes to the tutorial! Well done. It's nice to have a change of pace there and it is a much better experience. Thank you too for the increase in seer orbs, definitely needed them for that first campaign run. Keep it up!
Will Arbiter Clerics, a beautiful DPS path be ever looked at? As a AC main myself, i have yet to come across a dps AC in LOMM and they are just dying and fading. The Devout clerics are also moving to paladin because it's much less effort. Warlocks and Clerics right now are suffering the most. PVP is out of question for them.

I run a DPS cleric in LoMM. One of my buddies runs one of the best DPS clerics I've seen in LoMM.
I've seen people leave the DPS cleric because they didn't care for the new playstyle not because they didn't like the damage it was doing.
Full disclosure, that buddy's cleric is close to 26k and he puts out insane damage but he also knows the class very well.

Then they must increase its ilvl as well. Otherwise they will destroy it.
