I am just wondering how many more testimonies like this ( though I am sure they must have the data to confirm the abysmal success rate of Tiamat, Manycoins or CR) cryptic needs before they do what needs doing and remove them from the queues for a much needed rework.

It's really affecting the game as a whole.

You can finish Tiamat if you know what to do, and even if you don't just look at chat, sometimes there are idiots (like me) that try to tell people how to do it but they just ignore it or don't care... even yesterday i was the only one on the left side with 9 ****** on the right side...

Manycoins has to many enemies for a party that most times is full dps (same as folly)

I just did Tiamat and we had 4 minutes before it started. Within 4 minutes people were leaving and joining.
After waiting for freaking 4 minutes, there was only few of us ( 4/10) getting the shields.
Several minutes later the rest joined and we had 10/10 players, yeaahh~ awesome... but sadly only 4 of us had the shield and the other 6 who joined later didn't had any, so.. wohoo.. we kept dying and dying at green trying to get his health to 20%. Same to other dragons but thank god i left the dungeon cuz that HAMSTER wasn't worth my time.

thats why i think they need to put tiamat back like it was before mod 16 they have made it to hard i have 14 keys for tiamat i can not use

oof... I just did Tiamat. We were only able to kill 2 dragons! none of the players knew what to do, so you could tell that they were all doing RIQ... I was trying to help a guild member earn some boons, but it's just impossible... And Tiamat isn't a desirable trial to run, so it's too hard to find a party...

I don't think I've had more than 1 out of 10 Tiamat successes in the random queue since the start of Mod 16.

There are so many reasons why it now usually ends in a fail, but they include:

    - Players getting killed over and over by standing in the breath in the defend clerics stage,
    - Players failing to divide themselves into two groups of 5 for the clerics,
    - Players picking up the dragon souls from the dragon then leaving the raid so there's no one left with the correct soul.
    - Players leaving immediately as soon as it appears. (Got to admit that I've done this 1 or 2 times),
    - Insufficient dps to complete in time.
    - Weaker players getting 1-shotted by regular attacks by Tiamat's heads (not the specials).

Sure, there's an issue of 'learn2play' here, but it has become self-perpetuating.

I tried it again today, and within 2 minutes of it starting, I could tell it would be a fail. I waited until the first round of the dragon heads, but the group managed only to get 1 head to 20% and a 2nd head to 60%. A player left, so I took my opportunity to bail out too.

I'd be very interested to hear what the official success rates are for this from random queues.

Sadly it becomes its own snowball. Even if people do manage to complete the instance, its usually on private, where RiQ rewards do not apply. Again, if they do want to encourage epic trials that require a lot of communication, it's actually a nice thing for people to do, but do provide suitable rewards ( Any drop from the dungeon is virtually obsolete to anyone who has completed that campaign) and tie it up to guild activities; it would give purpose to running guilds beyond collecting the boons for the extra stats. As a dungeon that's forced upon the casual pugger just trying to earn his daily cap of RaD before moving on to farm all the other menial, repetitive tasks on this increasingly bigger checklist ticking of a game, it can be a nightmare and a 30 minute timesink, and I do not fault anyone who drops out to do other stuff. Regardless of what Cryptic seems to think, our time *is* valuable, and this dungeon is a wasted 30 minutes.

It's not, mind, the only instance of things that are hap hazardly implemented, mind. Manycoins suffer from the same type of problem, and other instances clearly show symptoms of not being designed for the scaling that was forced upon us. Merchant Prince Folly, for example is still designed with the old system in mind. The easiness with which anyone without a seriously overpowered toon gets overwhelmed by the sheer number of mobs which are virtually unblockable and have you down and out in two times; Only dps class faring somwhat well is Wizard, provided they can get some CC going; not gamebreaking, because most people can still at least complete it, but getting swarmed, quickly wiping and running back and killing as many as you can is neither fun nor is it (I hope) the way the instance was intended to play. Another instance is Illusionist's Gambit, which can be the easiest, quickest content in all the game if you're just going for bronze, or an instant wipe if the RNG gods decide to set the floor on fire. even if you accidentally have a healer in your PUG group, odds are everyone goes down pretty fast, as the damage is a constant and the dungeon's not designed for the group to stay close.

Again, @nitocris83 and @mimicking#6533 , no matter how much you try to ignore this, this *is* killing the game. Ignore these issues at your own responsibility, but sensible game design would prioritize the things that are broken over yet more forthcoming "class balances" no one at all is asking for at this time.

Sadly, this game has become a joke now. There's a reason people, like myself, don't bother queuing for PVP or Dungeons anymore. If you're not stuck with underpowered players that don't know what they're doing and are trying to learn, you're stuck with elitist pricks that will kick you for not playing how THEY want you to play (sound familiar, Cryptic?) If it's not those, then it's HAMSTER on the forums that say, "That's what you get for pugging" or "Your first mistake was to pug", as though every player in the game is in a Lvl 20 Guild with 50+ active players hourly or it's a bunch of bots.

Back during beta, you used to have to run 4 PvP runs to get your daily AD allotment. Problem was, you had these HAMSTER Griefers that would pug as a group of 5 with their Rank 10s (highest you could get at the time) and just ROFLSTOMP everything, 'cos back then, queues had zero concept of balance. Now, if you didn't get at least 200 glory, it didn't count, so you could get HAMSTER out of your daily AD run, from just a couple of HAMSTER that wanted to be pricks, for the sake of being pricks. Complaining really amounted to nothing. You'd send a complaint to CS and they'd "look into it."

So, it got to the point that if people in your party noticed a particular Griefer by name or handle, they'd camp the campsite and wait it out. Why give them Glory or AD, when they're just pugging to humiliate you and prevent you earning your AD for running PvP. It was seriously that bad. You wasted 15 minutes, 'cos no matter what you did there was a huge chance of getting one of these Griefer Pug Groups.

Then, one day, the group I was in ended up camping, 'cos once again, it was a particular group of Griefer's (I won't mention their Guild, as they're still active.) Only this time, one of them found an exploit in the PvP map that allowed enemies to enter your campsite. I still have screenshots of the incidents. Well, some HAMSTER decided to tell all his Griefer buddies and then, out of nowhere, if you camped, 'cos you got tired of getting ROFLSTOMPED when you were just trying to get your AD or glory for gear, well they'd just jump in your campsite and do it there. You respawn, they'd one-shot you. So, you wouldn't bother Rezzing.

We told Cryptic about this and this went on for MONTHS. Finally, I just quit PvP. HAMSTER that noise.

With Dungeons, it's the same HAMSTER. HAMSTER want to run it as quickly as possible or they don't want to bother teaching people how to run a dungeon, 'cos they just care about themselves or they expect to just tell you what to do, as though they're playing your character.

Last Dungeon I ran was with my wife. It was an SKT skirmish and some HAMSTER told me "You're not activating Into the Fray. I need it." I told him, not realizing he was Party Leader, that I don't use it. "You need to slot it. I need it." So, I tell him if he wants it so bad to run the Dungeon with his own GF and let me play the game. "We can't complete the dungeon without it. Slot." I tell him "No" again.

So, he kicks me from the party.

My wife is all "Where are you?" I'm like "This HAMSTER kicked me for not slotting a power I didn't want to use." She waited until they were in a Boss fight and dropped party.

Guilds are even worse. If you're in a low-level guild, it's impossible to recruit, 'cos everyone wants something for nothing. They all want the 8k guild boons, but don't want to put into receiving them. If you want to join one of these higher level guilds, if you don't participate or can play 5 hours a day, they drop you for someone who will. I don't know how many people who asked to join my Guild (which is dead and has been now, for years thanks to player loss), but as soon as they see it's a lowly Rank 5 thanks to the work of myself, my wife and my kid, they drop it, 'cos they don't want to contribute.

But Cryptic wants to tell US how to play. They expect us to group for content, when a lot of us want no part of that, 'cos of all the past mistakes and abuse they've received at the hands of Cryptic. Look at Claws of Maiar. I've managed to solo it on 4 of my toons, but they were Level 80, running at least a 15k iLevel, with at least 45 of 60 boons and that's supposed to be 11k content. *rolls eyes*

I keep playing Neverwinter, as I enjoy the combat of the game no matter how much Cryptic decides to swing Mjolnerf. But grouping? No thanks. I'm good. Pugging Dungeons for BiS Equip? No thanks. I'm good. Dealing with a bunch of elitest HAMSTER to get Guild boons? No thanks. I'm good. I'll keep running old content when I'm bored, until something better catches my eye.
