Did counter for fails on enchantment upgrades get changed?

Seems like the counters have changed. I have a dark 11 that had been tried to upgrade, has counter 3/30. Now if I goto actually refine a rank 11, it has counter of 0/50, but when I hover over, says 0/30. Seems every enchant had the counter pushed to what the enchant ahead of it was. 12-13 was 0/50, now that's 11-12. 13-14 was 0/75, now that's rank 12-13. 14-15 was 0/150...doesn't even show a counter now. Even affects the rank 8's and 9's. 8 slightly, 0/7 went to 0/8. 9's went from 0/8 to 0/15. Artifacts at 5% upgrade have counter 0/30 still, enchants 5%, 0/50.

    @nitocris83 Can we find out if this is a bug or not? It sounds like it is, hopefully it's not a ninja nerf, I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it.

    Hoping it's a bug. Told all in alliance and some friends to not upgrade enchants until we hear.

    rank 14 had counter of 0/150, now counter is gone.
    rank 13 had counter of 0/75, now has rank 14's old 0/150
    rank 12 had counter of 0/50, now has rank 13 old 0/75
    rank 11 had counter of 0/30, now has rank 12 old 0/50
    rank 10 had counter of 0/15, now has rank 11 old 0/30
    rank 9 had counter of 0/8, now has rank 10 old 0/15
    rank 8 had counter of 0/7, now has rank 9 old 0/8

    Have to actually hit refine, and the number changes from what it shows on tooltip.

    I assume you are talking about you were checking that when the dark 11 was in your inventory window.

    Where do you see 0/50? In the refine window, there are 2 enchantment icons. One is on the top and one is on the bottom.
    The one on the top is your dark 11 and it should be 3/30. The one on the bottom (beside 5%) should be 0/50 because that is the one you are going to make, a rank 12. The number you should care about is the one on the top.

    If what you reported was based on the 0/N of the enchantment beside the percentage, you used the wrong one.

    When I goto upgrade any other rank 11 besides the one that had a few fails(the dark 11 that was 3/30 to goto 12). All other rank 11's now have a counter of 0/50 on the refine screen. If you hover and see the tooltip, outside of refining, it looks fine at 0/30. On actual refine screen it says guaranteed success counter is 0/50 for rank 11-12 now. Check a artifact going to mythic, 5% is still 0/30. Any enchant with a 5% chance now shows 0/50 on the refine screen.

    Sorry, im not going to chance 50 wards on a fresh radiant 11 to test it and see if the counter is still correct and at 30 gives guaranteed success like it used to for the 5%. Right now it shows 0/50. That's why im asking what changed, or if its a glitch.

    I upgraded a lot of radiant 8-12 last week and tooltip didn't show the next lvl 0/N before I started. Just no need to upgrade except high lvl and wanted to be sure.

    Used a few pres wards on some, old counter works. Carry on, sorry for inconvenience, just wanted to be sure.

    Again, which icon of the refine window did you see the wrong counter? if you choose the icon beside the percentage (i.e. 5% in your example), you check the wrong icon in the refine window. You need to check the icon on the top of the refine window.

    The one on the top will change from 0/30 to 1/30 to 2/30 when you are working on it.
    The one on the bottom (beside 5%) will not be changed. It will stay as 0/50 forever because it is not the one that got refined.

    I get that, it never used to show the enchant counter for the level after the upgrade. Seemed new.
