Crashing bug associated with Blink Dog

Cause: Having Blink Dog summoned and opening the menu to select a Companion to summon.
Effect: After a few seconds, the game crashes to blue screen.
Currently this is the only Companion that has done this to me so far, so I cannot say if any others do it too. I managed to avoid further crashing by immediately summoning a different Companion but this issue is still worth addressing.
