    I was on a Ranger with a Chultan tiger summoned. It was the entire beginning of the dungeon. We only got up to the first boss. I will contact the others in the party and see If we can try again tonight to get screenshots and video. There was for sure also a Fighter and a Cleric in party, but I do not remember what companions they had summoned. (Most likely Chultan Tigers)

    Feedback: 2nd boss soak mechanic.

    This is more feedback about soaks in general, but since the mechanic is implemented here, I will give feedback about it here. I think this mechanic is under utilized and could be better used as a healer check. Instead of being a fast ticking DoT, I think they should be a slow ticking DoT that does the following:
    • Base Damage: 5/3rds of a player's maximum HP per tick.
    • Tick Rate: once every 2 seconds.
    • Duration: 10 seconds.
    • Total number of ticks: 6 (0,2,4,6,8,10)
    • Damage reduction for getting close: 1/player_count

    So for example, if you are alone each tick will hit you for 5/3rds of your hp per tick and you will die. If you are in a group of 2, you will take 5/6ths of your hp per tick. If you are in a group of 5, you will take 1/3rd of your hp per tick. This creates a 5 second window in which healers must heal the people effected in the best case scenario to prevent the party wiping, less if the party does worse at the mechanic and acts as a skill check for healers.

    I was on my Fighter and had tiger summoned as well, and I think I was also using his potency bonus, forgot what that bonus is called.

    Thanks a lot for the clarification. Probably I didn't express myself correctly because with no doubt open world and group content will have a gap between, it's just that 8000 points per stat has been a shocking amount for me, because as a DPS that means I need to "move" 24000 points from other stats to the main offensive stats (Armor Pen, Accuracy and Critical Strike) on an open world balanced character.
    Moving them in group content could not be a really big problem because tank will tank and healer will heal, the problem would arise when you try to use that same build for single player open world (daily/weekly/campaign) where your character has to be DPS and tank (and maybe healer too), because you play that part of Neverwinter on you own.

    Anyway I'll try to find a new SW DPS build for Lair of the Mad Mage this weekend and see if I can make it work for open world with none or minimal changes. Having a duplicated piece or two with enchants may not be the worst thing, although 6 or 7 pieces, enchants and artifacts would definitely be.

    the last boss doesn't reset after wipe , also i notice that the pets got stuck on the outside after we all died , not sure if it was like that since the start .

    2. When arrows appear it deal amazing dmg to us, 60k-160k dmg each tick. If we stay in group we all die, if we run alona just 1 die.

    for the refence i have 68k def 41.7k defl when got one shot by the cube

    first boss still doesn't start for me solo .

    @dressroba I’m curious what your Awareness is?

    I’ve been reporting the same bug in the Unexpected Deaths thread for a couple of patches, and I’m wondering if the attack is skipping defences etc due to not being considered to have a point of origin.

    I’ve been reporting the same bug in the Unexpected Deaths thread for a couple of patches, and I’m wondering if the attack is skipping defences etc due to not being considered to have a point of origin.

    Yeah, see as I understand the new stats it needs Awareness of 70k or so to overcome the Combat Advantage of the Cube, because it always attacks with it.

    no way to get that much awareness even tanks will have hard time getting the cap

    Confirming the over performing Gelatinous Cube in the room with the beholder and skeletal guards. It was hitting me consecutively for 500k+ damage with its "poison", its the same bug I see out in the big HEs for this campaign.

    Stats are also still being scaled for the dungeon (and the SH ones match what I see in Expeditions).

    I went in solo in private mode. You have to wait about 60 seconds before map starts loading. Using a lot of res scrolls, I made it to the Green Slime Cube room fight, & gave up. When you die inside it, it stays on you, and you just get 1 hitted when you resurrect. Even without that, that is a pretty challenging solo fight. Just wanna add that despite the enormous stat gains we get from augments now, bringing a companion to 'tank & fight' is more effective, which leads me to wonder if they need to make everything a little easier, and the companions a little less effective at doing damage.

    Where did you get this information? Was this talked about in the Driftwood Stream?

    Is this to make sure that we have to do the scaled Bugged content like TONG, CR and others for a few weeks just to make sure we all quit playing? I mean I am all for free beta testing on the preview server. I'll do it for a while to help them squish bugs. What I am not ok with is pushing bugged content to LIVE and then expecting the playerbase to beta test. Sometimes this company makes me so angry!
