Multiple times when loading Neverwinter it causes my xbobx to shut off. How to fix?

Sounds like you have something corrupted in your XBOX cache. I recommend a hard reset (unplug your Xbox for ~30 secs) and reload. If that does not fix the issue I would uninstall and reinstall the Neverwinter game as a whole.

So I encountered this all the time, too. I found the solution is, every time I exit neverwinter, close the app (at the home screen, highlight neverwinter, pres the menu button, select Quit) now that I have gotten into the habit of doing this, my xbox doesn't crash on me anymore when starting up the game.

I had the same issue and as akuvar listed above it appears to be linked to when you resume Neverwinter. If your Xbox is set to update in the background and doesn't ever fully power off if you try and open Neverwinter a second time in a day without fully closing the app it crashes or sometimes will reboot the entire Xbox One. It's been happening to me since Mod 15 too.

The same thing has been happening to me since Heart of Fire, and has never happened before in all my years of playing.

You have to manually quit the application before launching it or your console will turn off.
