Tenebrous Enchantment Ranks and Stats Reversed

Not really expecting much help on this since none of my other issues to this date have been resolved. I have two Tenebrous Enchantments.

- One is marked epic with the purple outline. It also has six points on the enchantment which indicates a rank 8 item, but it is marked as a rank 7 with a 32 point item level. When striking a foe you have 3% change to do 3% of your current hit points as necrotic damage.
- The other enchantment is blue with five points, indicating a rank 7 item, but it is marked as a rank 8 with an item level of 3. When striking a foe you have a 1% chance to deal 1% damage.

Why am I concerned? I'm not sure if leveling these items up will fix the issue, or if it will reduce the effect as with the reversed stats on them. Has anyone encountered this before? What was the solution? I have no idea where to submit a ticket if that will help since I couldn't find a category for this issue. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Could you post screenshots please? Also, just so you know, they're not worth looking at.

What do you mean? The item's usefulness or the screenshots? I'm interested in the enchantments because I basically turned my SW into a necromancer. Max damage and his health almost never drops, so that enchantment could dishout some good damage with my particular setup. I'll post some screenshots up here soon.

Pretty sure he's telling you the enchantments aren't very good. You're essentially using an offense slot that would give you more crit/power/arm pen/whatever stat you need.

Basically you want to put on an enchantment that gives you a small chance (7% i believe at max rank) to do a small amount of damage based off your hit points. If you have 100k hp that means a 7% chance to do 7000 damage. Bump that to 14% chance if you have 2 maxed out.

The amount of damage might be even lower if you're not meeting the minimum arm pen cap in order to use these.

I get that. I usually favor radiant or azure depending on my setup. But I thought I'd investigate the new enchantment anyway. I mean just because on the surface there are better known options, doesn't mean someone like me can't test for hidden benefits or see if the 28% cap is worth it. Either way, my question stands and these stats don't add up to even begin to consider upgrading the items to determine their worth. I really don't think the devs intended for these to get jumbled.

How do I upload the images if there is no URL? I'm assuming because the images aren't from a web page I'm not getting the option to copy a URL, but I see no other way to put the pics up that I took of my screen.

You should upload them to a image hosting site like imgur. And yes, I meant they're not useful (feel free to do what you want, I just wanted to make sure you're aware). Also, you seem to be missing out the point that they have an internal cooldown.

I thought internal cooldown was deletet in mod 12.5 or 13 with enchantment rework Or is this not right?

I didn't think they had a cooldown. Just the cap at 28%. I'm interested to see how power it 'can' be with someone pushing like 200k HP. If the enchantment caps at 28%, one wouldn't need all of their offensive enchantments replaced with these. Depending on the % each one caps at to total 28%. So that's why I want to look into it. For information purposes either way.

Also, thanks for that info FrozenFireVR. I'll do it that way.

This is the rank 8 one. With six points. I see that rank 7s are blue now and so are rand s that you craft from campaigns like Fey Blessing and Dragon Hoard enchantments. So the most important issue here are the % stats being off. This other one is the rank 7.

Okay, it looks like that 'Rank 7' is a residual item or something, it has the icon of a rank 9 and the effect of a rank 10 and quite likely shouldn't exist. What does it say it'll upgrade to in the refinement window? I have reported this issue.

The purple on that's r7 at 3%/3% says it will level up to a blue r8 with the 1%/1% numbers.
The blue r8 with 1%/1% will upgrade to a purple r9 with 2%/2% numbers.

@nitocris83 Did we ever get an answer to this? I had a rank 7 drop and was very unhappy when I ranked it up to a level 8 just now and it went from Purple to blue and from a 3% bonus to a 1% bonus.
