The devs might also want to keep in mind that some of us no longer have the reflexes and the eye/hand coordination that we had 40+ years ago. Also, why does my U. Elven Battle Enchant not help with the push/pull?
Please, don't make this raid easier than it already is.
This is the first raid which ask a bit of practice and brought us challenge in the game.
Firsts weeks were hard because we had to learn the timings, variety of different classes and what can happen during the combat (AoE pushing you outside during the push for example).
The only HAMSTER thing that remains is this claw, it is fixed if you're grabbed before the pull but not when you're running which generally leads to an immediate death because you can't control your character anymore.
I really hope that devs are gonna continue in this way and proposes us more and more challenge (in different ways), something which ask personnal skill, practice and not only power like the rest of the game.

Practice and challenge is fine....but the issue is that for some people the push/pull phase is simply not survivable because of lag. When your character just stands still and does not move for a second or two, and then moves instantly to its "right" location, or if you are "rubberbanding" back and forth, you just cannot fully control where you are moving with proper timing.
I'm not asking asking for CoDG to be made easier - I'm just asking the devs to not make content depend on having a "lag-free" run, when we (and they) know quite well that numerous players have significant lag.
Speaking for myself, I'll continue to do CoDG (when the game is not lagging for me) to get the ampoules and carvings I need - but that's it - It is not content I run for fun.
I find the second boss of MSP harder for beginners and at the time it came out, there were less whine about it than today.
Lag is present for sure, mostly for europeans, I don't think they're gonna open a new serveur located in Europe and crossed with the actual one. So far it is playable, not fluid everytime so strange deaths occurs but it's like that, the only solution is to optimize the game, which is not their strength...
was doing again practice runs with the guild im in...all the time the same...push/pull with no lag is doable but how u supossed to survive with a ping above 2000 (my internet connection works fine and the normal ping is 20ms (point to point within Germany)...lowest ping for NW is around 160ms) - Intentionally or nor not...serious cryptic u force ppl to run CoDG to upgrade weapon/chain but did ever waste a thought on stuff like lag and such?...and the let us do all upgrade stuff boC policy isnt helpfull either...

There is a plan to make CoDG less frustrating but the ETA to release an update isn't set yet.

how would a challenging mechanic that doesnt punish your for doing nothing for 2 seconds look like?

That's good. What would be even better would be if there was a firm decision to not introduce tests in the future where success depends on your "ping".
For now, I'm doing CoDG once per week for the ampoules and will just wait and see if it improves in the future.
