In short 7,500 is a semi okay price. 10,000 is stupidly overpriced. Buy now before module 13 drops~ Clever marketing for simpletons in this game. Id rather get the 20 blood rubies free in a few hours time.

How would you get 20 blood rubies free in a few hours time please?

If you have several alts and are in a good Guild/Alliance and the 2xEnchants event is running, then the SH Siege Event can generate a nice stack of Blood Rubies in a few hours. They can also drop in the CN, TONG and (I think) MSP chests. So they can be farmed for 'free'. Of course any chest drops are subject to the usual NWO RNG limitations >:)

Thank you for this - very helpful amigo
Oops, almost forgot. They can also be found in SoMI Map in a Bottle Chests. Again, drop rate can be highly variable but you can buy a stack of them off the AH and track down the chests at your leisure. The Bottle Chests also contain a variety of other stuff, e.g. Relics (for voninblod), RP, and even the odd Brilliant Diamond, so it can be a profitable endeavour....though boring and quite time consuming.

And you can farm all of them for free and supplement with another 20 rubies from the Expedition Pack. What am i missing???
traditionally these have been account wide unlocks. as i recall they have dealt with things like the rubies and coal wards as a separate pack within a pack that is reclaimable once but then the other things are all reclaimable across all your toons.
Yep my understanding is - Packs are reclaimable and account wide at least in part Bundles are single claim only. Granted, the price was what started the alarm bells ringing. But, the naming of this and usual "leave it to those who dare to purchase is first to explain it clearly" attitude makes me wonder if this needs to be renamed, because my 7500 is going to stay in my account.

I bought the pack thinking it was a "traditional" mod pack with the stuff account unlocked(once again not the extra stuff like rubies, coal. wards etc). The mount is cool, the pet is awesome but not OP (you always have a swarm of chompies in formation) but 10k zens for a one time reclaim pack(ok 7500 for now) is just meh.A one character unlock title.....seriously.....I'm waiting to see the weapon set to regret the pack or not
Are the coal wards bound or not? Not being able to sell them to recoup a bigger part of ZEN is a no-no for me, as I have enough bound wards for my lowly needs.
Unfortunately, no way of knowing for certain until after Mod13 drops on Tuesday. I did buy one of the packs myself and, just out of interest, checked to see if the weapons and other stuff pack was available at the Claims Agent in PE on the Preview Server. It isn't I expect the rubies and C-Wards to be BtoA at best. I will be able to put them to use so not too worried if they cannot be sold. If they are BtoC, I will be a little bit miffed though.
The weapon set is ok, not going to be top choice but better than the one you buy from campaign currency. For solo play, it is probably the best one, though with the new weapon damage, any of the new sets are going to mow down solo content.
At the start of the fight, you get a +1% damage boost per enemy, max 10%. If only one enemy is present it is 5%. Tooltip makes it sound as if it buff lasts until you leave combat, though this is just a guess.

The weapons unpacked blue and there were just enough rubies to bring both pieces to purple.

Eating my Abolethic got the main done and the offhand to about halfway through to legendary.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
