Hello Guardians. I haven't seen any posts ever on these issues, but as someone who hates dealing with this I have went ahead and decided i'd finally do this. I am not sure if this will get the developers attention, but I did tag them.
Video proof below shows how Villains Menace still does not work. Trickster Rogues Dazing Strike, and Hunter Ranger's Disrupting Shot proceeds to put a momentary cool down and destroying casting moves in mid animation. Forcing you to either hit the skill twice, OR hit your at wills again. This however isn't the only move that plagues us Guardians.
The ride aint over yet.
It is so bad. To the point where your Crushing Surge, YOUR MARK
, or any Encounter, Atwill, Daily, or even with your Shield UP
puts everything on cool down. EVEN YOUR ARTIFACT! Regardless if you even have Menace up, or your Shield. This destroys a Guardians time trying to secure a kill or use a skill because they have to worry every 2 seconds that their skills (Regardless like I said if you have the CC immunity up) will not work.
Disrupting Shot does it.
Dazing Strike does it.
Smokebomb Slows the Target down regardless of CC immunity.
Courage Break goes through CC immunities and you are Perma-Rooted.
Those are probably not even ALL of them that can do it. Please @mimicking#6533

I have not shown videos of other classes doing this as HR's and TR's are simply examples. I am not sure if this is a class by class basis sort of thing or if it is something that is wrong deep in the code of the Guardian Fighter. I also know this affects GWF's in Unstoppable when they swing. It momentarily STOPS.

Last but not least is Courage Break is STILL broken. GWF, SW, OP, and GF have to suffer due to this. Heres a post I got a reply from @sgrantdev
but I don't think it was looked into much after. Videos edited for your convenience, and so you can clearly see the issue.
Any news on a fix for it? It was acknowledged by @sgrantdev#8718 or @sgrantdev but I never saw a fix for it. I will quote some of my old posts just in case some of you have no idea just how bad this is. You are permantley rooted in place and CANNOT move. This is being exploited by some TR's and has yet to be fixed.
Thanks for the videos. It is hard to tell what other ability is causing you to go to 0 after courage breaker hits. Do you have an idea of what other debuff may be causing the stacking issue?
It's literally Courage Break, Smoke Bomb, and what could also be used is the Cloud of Steel Feature on TR's. But mainly Courage Break and Smoke Bomb.
