Well TRs we asked

Well asked for a rework on TRs and we got the opposite. It's crazy that they would nerf our powers when all the other classes consider TRs to be the weakest and don't want us in dungeons until you prove yourself. This time it seems as if the Devs have done the exact opposite. I know mod 13 is in the test phase and things are subject to change. It's already hard for most TRs now, with these changes with they stick its going to be harder. I just don't get it. I don't know id ARC plays their game or just read data at the moment they still haven't put TRs on the right path.

    It is not true what you are saying. Take a look on the patchnotes for M13.
    Regardless of the upcoming balance changes there are a lot of very strong TRs in M12b content. There are definetly decent builds out for the class and TR is not a bad DPS. TRs are not as bad as everyone complains about it.

    PS. My TR's friend personally the biggest hit from SoD was Two hundred million ;)
    and my fastest runs in TO9G is with TR as a main dps ;)

    LOL!!! you should stand up comedy. I know how to play as TR, I don't have any problems playing a TR at. They nerfed shadowy opportunity by 50% on the SABO path. The rework is a joke.

    Shadowy Opportunity by 50%, Smoke Bomb does reduced damage to compensate for an extra tick REALLY!!! we couldn't get the extra tick?

    No doubt in Mod 12b there are alot of strong TRs I have run with a few of them. I love playing as a TR I have a good build I have no problem running dungeons. I make my money on boss thats how I catch up on DPS. Nerfing Shadowy Opportunity and Shadow Born is going to hurt our class.

    lets see how shadow opportunity works in combat... it should actually be stronger than before.

    path of the blades has new issues doing critical hits if you cast then later stealth.
    on live all hits in stealth are critical.

    I could be wrong, but I always thought path of the blades never crit?

    it does... log on live and use path of the blades... then hit tab to stealth. all hits from stealth will be critical. on preview this does not work.

    The changes, they are a great big bag of meh. Oh boy, Gloaming Cut. Impact Shot?? Is that in anyway useful in PVE? Sly flourish didn't even change. Tenacious Concealment? None of these will affect TRs in PVE content in the least.

    The only possible nerf is smoke bomb. reducing the damage and giving an extra tick will lower our burst against mobs a small amount, because most of them will die before we get to the last tick. But, the enchant proc probably gives back some of that, so meh.

    Meh meh meh

    Most other classes got a LOT more attention than TRs, for mod 13.

    However, it is foolish to think we got a lot of "good" out of the changes @demonmonger . And, I share the frustration of @dagambit -no rework- like has been promised us for over a year now.

    Glad SWs got some attention.

    Most likely this isn't the long promised TR rework. The Devs said that the SW changes aren't a actual rework and TR got less that that. Many of the things on the list are just items from the October Bugfixes. The last 'Official' rework was for DC and it took place outside of a Module release so I wouldn't lose all hope (assuming anyone has any left?)

    Question, I'm on Xbox so don't get the luxury of test servers for preview or ACT to review data. With the shadowborn change, what are people views? It's going from 100% power rating bonus on the first hit out of stealth to 25% physical damage. So this reads like a nerf to me but there's obviously something I'm missing and don't understand in the mechanics as no one seems bothered by this. Can anyone explain/clarify for me? Thanks!

I wanted to chime in to reiterate something we've been saying on streams and in the forums for a few months now: we are no longer going in the direction of doing completely overhauls to one class at a time. We have moved to a system of identifying the biggest needs across all classes and working on them in tandem. This allows us to make quicker decisions and changes across the board instead of waiting for optimal time to scope out a full rework of just one class.

    A year of empty promises. On several occasions trs told about a rework. Clearly this new direction shows that zero effort went into to those promises.

    So in any given period we could see some changes or fixes for various classes. Ok, that sounds good to me.

    lol Trs aren't being nerfed they got buffed in this mod and you are complaining about shadowyy oppurtunity while it should be way more powerful now due to scaling obv they wouldn't let it scale and keep it at 100% that's absurd TRs out htere aleready can keep up on HDPS boards if you buff them anymore there will be no place for other classes so the changes made were okay and it got a little buff and now it should stay there for a while

    The classes performance widely relies on the player, the changes they made to oppressive and shadowy are actually a buff, since it scales with stats, the only question about those two are the stats, does it scale with base or total? because if its total, sab might actually be able to compete with executioner for dps. tenacious is irrelevant, if it would stack with exec cap stone maybe i would look at it. the change to razor action, basically gives WK tr a second whirlwind blade so in trash or boss's with trash WK should have an advantage( not enough to outshine MI), but WK is still very lack luster. the change to shadowborn is buff and a nerf, currently it procs off wep enchants or any kind of strike but they changed it to do reduced damage but only activate on encounters or dailies, so it wont be wasted but it also wont hit like it used to.

    As TR i used to be on the (TR are irrelevant band wagon) until i realized it was me who wasn't playing the class right, if you love this class put the time into it, learn it, you will see that the class is far from underpowered.

    As far as another utility for TR, what would you want to see? i believe we are the only class that can apply a CC to a boss via Courage breaker, i dabbled around with WK debuff in msva a few times out of boredom, the slow affect is applied which would give other buff classes that get damage boosts off of controlled targets. i mean maybe, the monopoly on CCing bosses? changed the capstone in scoundrel to be able to lock down a boss?
    What would you think would be a good route?
