Guild Bank and filthy thieves

My guild recently was the victim of a theft. He took as much as he could from the guild bank and left guild. I reached out to Arc to ask them to fix the guild bank settings so that they actually worked, and you could set slots for deposit only, and so on. They told me; "

Mod removed copy paste of mail from support basically stating that they don't intervene with guilds.

I am not asking for their intervention, I am asking them to fix a portion of the game that would resolve this issue for every guild in the game, as I know for a fact that my guild is not the only victim. Aside from tightening the settings and allowances on how much can be withdrawn I don't really see any other security option for this issue. I want to be able to use the deposit only option, but if that is turned on it locks both deposit and withdraw. Any suggestions?

    Turn off withdraws, and if it does bug the deposits, have people mail items they are wishing to deposit to a rank 7.

    Or set it so they can only withdraw 1 item for lower ranks.

    Never let rank 1s withdraw anything.

    This has happened to us as well. The fact of the issue is that the permissions are broken. There is an option that allows for deposit only that doesn’t work. This is a function of the game and we shouldn’t have to develop work around to account for broken mechanics.

    The original poster is obviously not seeking for new mechanics to be developed but rather for existing mechanics to work properly. I have had permissions reset (randomly) in my guild, we have also had theft. We don’t have the mail space to redirect every donation to mail.

    Fix the broken mechanic.

    I agree with ^^^ the option to deposit only should work as intended. We had a rank two that had been with us for months up and take what he could one night before leaving the guild. Work arounds are might be fine for temporary use but ultimately this is a serious issue that should be solved immediately. People work hard for their stuff and when they see it stolen they are hesitant to donate again.

    We don't allow rank 1 to do anything with the guild bank, those that are floating through to pilfer won't wait around long enough to be promoted and we don't store super valuable stuff in the guild bank.

    Has Julia added this to the known issues list? It should have come up in bugfix October too, but not sure if it did.

    Having to work around a broken deposit-only permission is definitely a bug, right?

    I know at one point on console those with the ability to not withdraw had the ability to withdraw; it was a major bug. I could not deposit though but could withdraw anything I wanted from the guild I am in when I first joined.
