New rp event + a cap really??

The event is fine. Yea, additional 40K per character over the whole event is nothing major, but hey - you basically get it for free doing stuff that you would be doing normally anyhow.
Sure, the unlike the old 2xRP event, this is not something you want to specifically mark on your calendar and prepare for weeks or even months in advance, but hey, you are getting FREE BONUS stuff.
Stop whining.Hoping for improvements...3 -
LOL at people who "left" the game but keep spending time on the forum and writing gripe posts.3

the amount of rp you get per kill is insanely low, no wonder they made a cap. You'll never reach it unless you dont sleep. You can get more RP by just picking up green gear. Lame event is lameAlways, Under the Influence

This cap is not the cap I thought it should be. I thought it is a cap for how much RP can earn through this event.
This cap is a cap of how much RP in your bank. If you have more than 40K RP in your bank, you can earn 0 RP by killing stuff.
You need to spend RP to be lower than 40K RP so that you can earn RP by killing stuff.
That is if you have kept million RP in your bank to prepare to upgrade to r14 when you get the stone, well, you will not be able to earn RP through this event. You are excluded even before the event starts although in a nut shell, it does not really matter because the earning is so low.The game can read your mind. If you want it, you won't get it. If you don't expect to get it, you will.0 -
It's not correct. I've 1mil+ RP on my char and I get RP points from event. But the amount is insanely low and I get way more from Wanderous+QM+picking stuff. This event is good idea in general but I will only use it as passive way to get bit more RP and I won't farm this event in any way. Good for botters I guess.plasticbat said:This cap is not the cap I thought it should be. I thought it is a cap for how much RP can earn through this event.

Yet it's still WAI so I can't really complain0 -
This is completely wrong.plasticbat said:This cap is not the cap I thought it should be. I thought it is a cap for how much RP can earn through this event.

I stand corrected since nobody else has that experience. However, I cannot explain the following:adinosii said:

My TR who had about 11K RP in bank did RQ Skirmish got RP.
My SW who had 4K RP in bank did RQ Skirmish got RP.
My GWF who had 60K RP in bank did RQ Skirmish got 0 RP. He also got 70% of totally killing in that skirmish. After I spend his RP to refine something to drop to just below 40K RP, went to do SH HE. He then got RP.
My OP who had 110K RP in bank did RQ Skirmish got 0 RP.
My DC who had 80K RP in bank did RQ skirmish got 0 RP.
I assume the limited information I gathered got me wrong impression of how that 40K RP cap works. The game can read your mind. If you want it, you won't get it. If you don't expect to get it, you will.0 -
I only played my main (DC) yesterday. She has 1.2M RP. I checked carefully how much additional RP she got from the event and it was a few hundred - nothing significant, but it was there. Now, maybe there is a higher chance if you are very low on RP, but that would be pretty unusual.
Maybe the issue is with the RQ skirmishes and the "within 7 levels" condition - maybe the unscaled level is used for checking?Hoping for improvements...0 -

SW went to Master of the Hunt. She got RP.
GWF, OP and DC went to Throne. They did not get RP and they all have more than 40K RP in bank. Throne is level 70, right?
I did write down their RP before they started.
GWF had 0 was the one that surprised me. He almost did everything in that Throne run because the party was kind of weak in DPS. Once I noticed that and suspected 40K cap is about the RP in bank. I refined stuff to drop that just below 40K. He started to get RP by killing junk in SH. The GWF was the third toon I played in the sequence. I paid even more attention to check for OP and DC after him.

I don't do RQ skirmishes, but some guildies reported getting 0 in IG.
I have half mil RP stored, and got about 100 from a CN run from the event. Saw the popup "2" when killing a zombie.
Personally I didn't have much expectation so can't say I'm much disappointed. Just ignoring this event, unfortunately.
With a higher drop rate, and even the same cap, it could have been a nice event for less geared people, to catch up and as retain event.
But as is, IMO, it's not there nor here.0 -
I guess Throne does not give me RP and I happened to have 3 toon who have more than 40K RP went there.micky1p00 said:I don't do RQ skirmishes, but some guildies reported getting 0 in IG.

The GWF probably can get RP from SH regardless if I dropped his RP in bank to below 40K or not.
I guess I draw wrong conclusion based on coincidences. Sorry about that. The game can read your mind. If you want it, you won't get it. If you don't expect to get it, you will.0 -
