Common Cause bugged

The NPC won't give me the quest. Someone mentioned relogging or changing instances. Tried both, neither work.

I got this bug a couple of days ago, had to abandon quest.

The video is broke, so I'll be commenting on the major "known issue" on Common Cause daily.

If you picked up Common Cause and did not complete the associated daily that it wants you to during that same day, the next day, the associated dailies will be different than what the Common Cause quest you picked up the day(s) prior asked for. This is because the quests change each day but Common Cause doesn't if you left it in your quest journal.

To get around this, you have to abandon Common Cause and the associated quests (or complete them) then wait until the timer resets to pick it up again the following day. So, in short, if you cannot complete the associated quests the same day you pick them up, you should always abandon Common Cause before it resets, else you'll loose out on another day of being able to do the quest. It has been this way for as long as I can recall. I sincerely hope that one day they will find and implement a fix to make it so folks don't loose a day.

Had this happen to me yesterday, got quest, finished quest (Heartwood?) (in the same day), Common Cause didn't update. Tried abandoning quest to redo, got it again but the Dryad won't talk to me. Just waiting for the daily to reset at this point.

Did as you suggested, that seemed to "fix" it - for the time being.

Did some grave-searching and found this bug might go back to 2k15. Rather odd that it hasn't been fixed after all this time.

It has been that way since I started playing. CC is meant to be done the day you get it and not put off for later.
