Bonus RP

Yo PC guys,

For those who had been on preview recently, can you tell me how this "bonus RP" event works?

When you kill monsters, they have a chance to add a bit of RP directly to your RP currency counter. They've tweaked the numbers since the event was on preview, as the few of us that tried it didn't find the event a big boost to progression or anything. So we're not sure how it will feel when live, but the devs hope it'll be better.

Still, it was a very simple event. Just go around and kill mobs and you don't need to do anything special to get the bonus.

@beckylunatic oh so it works that way, thanks for the info! A question though, is the RP pool still character bound?

Yes, the RP pool is per character (they might add shared bank transfer later if they are satisfied it's not exploitable). You can only transfer RP that is still in item form, so this particular event needs to be played on characters with items to refine to get the most from it.
