  I can't login either.

  I am getting the "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" message, and I'm showing a green server icon.
  
  FWIW, I've noticed off and on today similar issues, but trying to log back in again would generally get me back in game. Seems to happen when changing characters, too.

  mine too only logged off for like 15 minutes and the server crashed I tried logging in again but no go

  Looks like the login server is down .. so hopefully they won;t have to reboot the game servers, which'll take an hour xD

  lol I just got done downloading the game and was going to try it for the first time ever. Hopefully its back online soon.

  Yep, went to change character and got logged out! Kids back to school today so was looking forward to some peace and quiet, now i'm swearing at the screen lol :s

  Update: They're going to be restarting the login server. At this time, players will be unable to login and if they’re in-game, purchasing will not work. Once the login servers are restarted, players will need to log out and back in to make purchases.

  just tried to log in.. pop up window is indicating SERVER IS DOWN. So hopefully in an hour or two this will be fixed.
