The chult

Hey i checked out all the new +5 rings and they all have offense stats, this is kind of HAMSTER support classes who need a double defense ring, any solution here?

Another thing, wen was doing the quests, why is it when theres a big group of enemies, not always but sometimes they become invincible??? Was stood there with my gf tank wackin the same group of enemies for about ten minutes.

Last of all, travelling around the map, you cant seem to stop anywhere without agroing half the map, looking at the map, checking inventort ect..
The veloceraptors, usually in packs of 3 instantly mow u down off your mount then having to run a mile jus to loose em while they keep knocking you down over n over.

Oh an the serpent snake looking thibgs, using red eye n that, whatever the blue skull over ur head is so u loose all control over ur character and it makes u run into another group agroing even more, this stuff shocking

    idk about the rings but the tightness of the map, the long long distance the mobs trail you and the volumes of mobs that engage is annoying as hamster or whatever the current filter word is. So annoying...x100! I just defeat myself and start again.

    I get it, harder content, the community called for it (the population on the forums), but I don't feel like 15 million players are represented here and I for one, and most of my guild, I surveyed them tonight, love the new area but it is too tight and a tiny bit too hard.

    Specifically, the knock off the mount and agro the whole jungle are the issue, if I want to fight I can find mobs, but at times I want to just get stuff done and not fight every 6 feet. These two mechanics make a really cool zone NOT fun...but annoying..this is supposed to be fun....

    In lieu of just plain old stronger monsters, we now have a zone where almost everything is able to CC you.

    It annoys the hell out of me. The mod is well done, it looks amazing, but by the time I finished all dailies on one character my lasting feeling was one of irritation.

    There's nothing fun about being CC'd for 50% of a fight and I do not understand the need for widening (doubling) the aggro bubble.

    Yes thats another thing the time it takes to get thru all the daily / weeklys, its hard to make time to do other campaigns, dungeons and dailys when chult takes hours

    I'm in agreement here. The zone is okay but any good the new area does is all replaced by constant annoyance when trying to get someplace and being knocked off your mount repeatedly. Its less of a problem on my SW than my DC because I can kill it fast and move on. But this is a seriously annoying zone. I see maps, fishing, hunts etc and all I can think is "I don't even want to wander around the new area". Tried getting to a KoS before it finished and got knocked down 3 times on the way there. It's not even that far from where you spawn in lol.

    When there is a Brave among the Batari groups, they all get super-buffed. The Brave is the one that has the trinket, so it's worth the fight (sometimes)

    I've noticed the invincibility issue too, though I attributed that to the general lagging we've experienced for the last couple of days. I'm imagining there is some server-side map state transitioning occurring (e.g. regular mobs being replaced with the HE mobs) and the transition is taking 10-15 seconds in some cases, so the player can see the mobs but cannot fight them.

    Dont think they should change a thing, its supposed to be endgame content, My 15.6K Gwf has been lacking challenge and I am enjoying having to graft to take down Trex etc in there, most fun I have had in this game for over a year.
    If you cant do it solo then group up, plus you can always do the patrols to make it easier on the whole if you are undergeared.
    However very irked by some of the bugs that keep cropping up.

    The Batari thing is not broken, it's how it is. The groups with a Brave in are just tougher. All of the rare hunt things are tougher than the not rare ones, but with the Bataris it's more noticeable because you have a group of them all at the same high buffness.

    Yeah the zone is good but the mechanics actually suck. There is almost never a single mob (bunch) pull. Plus the reswap times are way too short. There are to many ways to get more mobs, they fear you and you run into a new group. The mobs actually move into the next set of mobs and you get more. Your companion just runs off due to fear, trying not to get hit or attacks and more mobs. Then the most irritating is you are fighting and guess what new mobs spawn with in aggro range.

    Frankly i see myself just doing the weekly and being gone.

    Which is too bad because who does not like fighting dinosaurs.

    The CC is intense but I personally like the challenge. I am strange, I know. I just return the favor and stun them. I will venture into the Batari camp and round up as many mobs possible and wipe them. Yesterday I walked a 9k Pally into the zone to spend my lures and the zone is simpler with someone else. The Chult is certainly busy but is certainly the best with the challenge it offers.

    What bothers me is the drop rate is not consistent each day. I collected my first crab claw yesterday. The other day I collected 18 Femurs back to back and only one talon from the five attempts. Prior day, zero talons of six attempts.

    Some of us that havent unlocked tong yet are still using some of the vivified relic gear and being tank built aka low dps i can be engaged in a fight with just the batari can take around 6-10mins per group.
    As you say there mega buffed and the long fight time sucks your voninblood gear dry.

    It wont be a problem when we get that primal gear hopefully

    This mod is close to making me quit the game, this is yet another dps burn mod, my poor pally, even at 15K takes 30 minutes per 5 totems. Where are the support class friendly quests? Why must I group up for solo content? I am a little cranky right now, but can we please get some content for support classes?

    I'm able to run with a group sometimes but running on my DC is a test to see how much pain and torture I can endure before I give up. I didn't even make my quota of totems this week because I just couldn't stand it anymore. Another week like that and I'll probably stop running the zone altogether on my cleric. It's not just the quests either. Just navigating the area is a test of patience when certain toons lose 60% of the hps just from getting ambushed by a mob.

    Been wondering this for a while. Seems every mod that has come out lately requires high DPS just to make it through. Probably one of the reasons there are so few support characters to run dungeons. Why bother with building a support character when you can't play the content.

    I have to agree, I farm the area with a Pally and I can drain half the health of most mobs with a single encounter and the high iL pally I run with struggles. So I do feel bad for stepping in and walking away with the lure resource. Before I DPS, I tend to sponge the damage from the mob by circling it so he can get them to half health in hopes of us both getting a drop.

    Im aware this will probably make me unpopular, but i think chult is built for OP's. We have no survivability issues and are one of the few classes that can solo t rex and the level 2 hunts (ok t rex takes a while). Also im surprised to hear you say at 15k youre struggling to kill mobs? My OP is just over 16k and with BL, TW and BO i burn mobs. I get my full weekly totems allowance within about 2 hours play. I do appreciate at lower IL levels this module is really tough, but it needed to be made that way as i was personally bored rigid with all those zones where everysingle mob can be oneshotted, and im by no means alone in that view.

    My pally is set up to be 99% tank, I do have power and arpen and even some crit...but I am by no means intended to do damage...most likely my current choice of enchant is not helping me much to kill things and I run a slightly different rotation but still...I don't think I have ever died out there, it is just slow going as a tank, my point is there should be quests for other roles, just like in a dungeon that asks for 3 deeps, 1 healer and 1 tank, there should be quests that match those roles. Right now all quests are kill this, kill that damage based quests.

    My TR can solo T-Rex all day long (although sometimes I die) and it just takes maybe 90 seconds...just estimating, I have not timed it although I recorded (or tried to record one) and I think I got about half the fight recorded in 30 seconds or so...

    Well heres one for ya...
    Just unlocked house of croc went at the weekly solo thinking yeah sound.

    Got to the end where you have to kill ras ni or watever his name is, it took me a good 15+ mins to do it.

    His health is a joke, its 10x worse than the runemaster boss at somi
